No way! The bloke that went off was utter pony. Isn't it funny how we see things? I thought their no3 was pulled off because he just wasn't there and was a shadow whom already booked. The no16 I thought done much better, but lets be honest LDV is streets ahead of this league. Just the quality of deliveries alone has made the whole tempo and tone of our attacking play look more balanced and cohesive. Definitely too good at this level and a brilliant acquisition, so credit to management team and scouting network for recruiting such talent. To make league leaders by a country mile and MadDog make a tactical defensive sub so early on in match speaks volumes... Yes the sub coped better IMO, I can only assume the guy that went off was carrying an injury or something (as well as the yellow), LDV tore him to shreds! Can't imagine Fulham wanting him barely testing himself at this level too much longer though, unfortunately.

Enjoyed that! Great early goal from the excellent Matty Taylor. Could have had a few more before HT. Not sure about the penalty appeal, initially though the guy headed it over, just not sure. Ref awful as always! Barnet better 2nd half but created very little and Mildy generally a spectator. Gas kept going, worked like trojans, pushed Barnet back in the last few minutes and got the deserved winner.
McCrystal did well against Akinde, Parkes really excellent. Sinclair workaholic. LDV got lots of real quality and so has Balanta. Big Nath a handful but really raw, lots of potential.
Great and vital win!
Come on you Blues!

Mightily relieved. This is a defining and pivotal win. Maybe now the team will believe in themselves ? Very happy with the win. Or maybe a certain element of the so called support will start to believe in the team.... Not aimed at you btw, there have been and will continue to be people cuing up to wish Clarke the sack. This isn't the Bristol Rovers I used to support anymore, decent fans fob it off as 82ers on a wind up but it isn't unfortunately. The day absolutely everyone supports the team and manager is the day they get a huge boost and a much better chance of success, common sense to many but not all. Absolutely hopefully all those people in the last couple of days who have desperately been inventing excuses why we can't possibly win this league, it's all about history, will get right behind the team instead of accepting defeat.

That was the worst decision I've ever seen at the mem and when the ref ran to the linesman I thought it was to confirm the number of the Barnet player that flicked it over the bar with his hand.fok that anyway we got a thoroughly deserved win in the end and if we play like we did in the first half we will absolutely piss this league.Who were those players masquerading in blue and white quarters haha.cracking night, got a proper soaking getting to the pub and a skinful of cider as well. Sinclair running and tackling like a madman first half and Mildy going mental after the winner went in are just two great memories I hope I still have in the morning!

Was in the south stand so couldnt see either way Not that it matters because fate prevailed winning the game, didn't see whether it was an handball or not but the linesman banged his flag up up as soon as which I did see thinking that there was a push or something but the reaction of everyone else in the ground including their own and players running over to the linesman after the ref pointed to the spot to me looked like the linesman bottled it , but never mind 3 points whatever ;-)

sorry but i still think it was a great defensive header, hopefully the proper replay will confirm one way or the other Then you must go to the same opticians as the ref and linesman! Take as many looks as you like at the video posted above on full screen. You can see that at the point of impact / deflection, the ball was about a foot higher than the guys head. Definite penalty, definite sending off. Certainly the majority of us in the Blackthorn thought so at the time and the video confirms it. Barnet are all that, shirt pulls, nudges and indeed deliberate handball. The ref let it all go tonight - another disgrace. Watch the Barnet players reaction. If your colleague has just performed a miraculous clearing header, you rush to him to congratulate him. They don't, they all rush to surround the ref (who I am convinced was going to give the penalty) and then the linesman - because they realised this was a decision that could lose the game for them. The only player who didn't chase the ref or linesman was the one who had handled. Ref and linesman bottled it and conned by the Barnet antics. Sooner or later Rovers will realise that even the most blatent decisions in htis league can be overturned if you pressurise the ref and surround him. Still justice done in the end.

What makes it even more annoying is that you can see from the video that the ref had a clear line of sight and a decent angle. Still, he'll be back refereeing on the Downs this weekend.

From where I was on the corner of the Blackthorn it looked like a stunning clearance, and certainly not handball.

Big mention to Mark McCrystal last night. I thought he was immense. Yes he sliced a few out of play but he won everything and defended superbly. There was one last ditch tackle against Akinde (who he had in his pocket) that was as good as scoring a goal. Well done big man.

So did I until I just saw that video clip. The way he dived it was impossible for him to do that with his head. The blokes I was with thought it handball I argued it was a great header. Very wrong. Blackthorn End had best view and bang on. Would have, could have, but I reckon we were so on top that 10 men 2-0 we would have had a big win.

From that angle certainly looks a pen, otherwise that is one stonking headed clearance. Theangle the Lino was looking from should also mean he had a decent view so.....
Anyway, got what we deserved in the end. Not bad for a mickey mouse manager and unfit professionals that we have according to some

Rovers should be allowed to appeal the lack of red card so the player gets a ban.

i was 90% sure it was a pen at the time now im even more certain.... the ref bottled it , he had a good view and gave the pen , their recation put doubt in his mind and passed the buck to the lino to get himself out of the $hite either way. thought we were superb for the first 35/40 mins their goal took the wind out of us and the 2nd hal;f we got bogged down as Barnet seeked to just close the game down and get the draw they wanted, justice done in the 93rd minute !! Thpught the team battled hard and played weel for each other yet again (as per most games), not something we have been able to say about a rovers team of any of the last 3/4 years, no doubt in my mind that we will be right on Barnets tails come april along with a few others

With you on that one PP, hopefully the players have showed the desire to fight for every ball and result, even if it doesn't always go to plan. I like the attitude of these players and this manager. We definitely have a base to build from. With or without promotion they deserve the support shown by most.

Great work there.....Look at the ref, he saw it, but didn't have the balls to give it and was bullied by Barnet to check with lino, and lets face it the refs are terrible the linos are miles off the pace (just to contradict; gave our goal)
