Glad you found the wag' comments a real hoot ..... As distasteful as it gets ... Lost all respect for you !must admit the comment was really aimed at the fact that chairman and financial controller have been the real subject of hate by many gasheads in view of the Club's relegation and the fact they were to receive the water treatment was to many retribution for their contribution to our demise. The isis reference was on reflection insensitive so I apologise...but wont lose any sleep over Somerset's loss of respect ...

Was the ten mins of Nick's time before or after the ice bucket challenge ...some wag on the dribuild side did comment that were ISIS about to do the be headings as Toni and Nick were sat in the chairs in the centre of the pitch awaiting the challenge ! Glad you found the wag' comments a real hoot ..... As distasteful as it gets ... Lost all respect for you ! The tragic endings of decent human beings lives are now a subject for mockery by some half-wit at a football match. Shameful.

All those people we read about in the newspapers who's lives were ruined after a lottery win started out with good intentions. I posted months ago that a compromise solution was required but once again we find the Rovers policy is one of confrontation. The worst thing though is that Nick Higgs continues to boast about it as he did to James yesterday. If you don't learn from the lessons of history you are doomed to repeat your mistakes. So what are you saying, just because you think there should be a "compromise solution" it should happen? What f the watertight contract we have & just compromise and get less out of it? Good business sense you have... Um not! Comedy Gold!!!! The irony in all of this is hilarious, clearly not aware of the height of success and business acumen Swiss has in both the UK and US then, Cue child like defensive incoherent rant!!!!!

Thanks for the link Ellington and that is without doubt the significance of that date. You would think therefore that the way Nick Higgs is behaving he is very confident that the decision is going to go our way AND if it does Sainsburys will pay up without further ado!

I wanna believe him , NH, I really do, but this project is dead in the water I feel, a few hundred thousand in breach of contract at best, but I can't see us having enough financial clout to carry this for possibly years through the high court!!!?? Let's just see Mr Higgs if you can get some very rich person, or persons into the building to get the UWE built, because Sainsburys money ain't building it

In one recent case a claimant recovered 50% of the agreed value when the defendant pulled out of a property deal when they failed to obtain pp, to suggest we'll only get a few £100K's seems a bit wide of the mark.

Whilst I'm not qualified to comment, if Sainsbury's break the contract you would expect a number of factors to count in our favour if damages are considered by a judge. Such as the time we have spent waiting around for the new stadium, the resources we have directed to ensuring planning goes through, the loss of revenue caused by losing the rugby club (they may have gone anyway I know, but the impending sale guaranteed they'd go), all the other costs involved in planning for the new stadium and probably several other losses that have never crossed my mind.
On the other hand, a legal fight with Sainsbury's will be like an away cup tie against Chelsea without the fun day out so hopefully we'll be able to settle for something reasonable out of court and start looking towards the future.

FFS give the bloke a break, all he did was comment on a comment. Black humour is a very British way of dealing with things and always will be. If you're directly affected by the subject matter I appreciate it will probably offend but I doubt anyone on here is.

To come out with a "joke" like that just hours after a Brit had his cut off, had nothing to do with humour.
