What's going on? Is he injured? Unfit? Does DC not fancy him? Or do we want rid of him because of his wages?

(nice motor though) Tbf he's played far more minutes for us this season than I thought, I think his knee is shot and unfortunately he's had it, I mean can you honestly see him scoring any goals this season???

I think Cunnington coming in and doing well has highlighted that Brunt is a million miles away from playing and making any sort of decent impact. When Balanta is fit and when the Turley deal is done, people will see even more players in there suits sat up in the stands. I hope Ryan has accepted he has no future here and will try and terminate his deal amicably.

I hope he works hard and forces himself back into the squad. Same goes with any other player who is out of the squad.
He was at the game tonight by the way.

Look - if players are not selected they go and get some tea and return before the game
So all the reports of players leaving the ground at 6.30, please add 'to get a salad wrap and fruit smoothie'
Carry on

I'm inclined to agree but in fairness, Lambert and Walker were hardly blessed with pace and that went alright.

I'm guessing either:
1) His knee is shot and the club will soon be announcing he's retired
2) It's another Gill/Kenneth situation and he wants his contract paid off so he can sign elsewhere.

Given the implied Spoonerism, I think 'squeezing up' and 'pressing' is perhaps exactly the kind of Colemanball chewie was hoping for.

Brunt was there with his boots and like Leadbitter returned them to his car when not selected. On form I'd play him not Cunnington, who actually had his best game for us last night, but he's not showed form yet, so with 5 subs and Ellis with a game head on at last, he'll struggle to get a place in squad.

If he is over his knee problems it's catch 22 though, how does he get fit if he never plays? it seems mid week reserve question are out of the question with so many mid week 1st team game. If he isn't going to play surely he needs to go out on loan to get fit or he'll only spend another season on the side lines.
