Today Labour increased tuition fees, the first time they have been raised since 2016. This is after promising they would not do so during the election campaign. More Labour lies. When Universities are facing very serious financial difficulties, not least because of the downturn in overseas students...what should they do? Let Unis' go to the wall? Stop lying.

"Smash the gangs".
17,500 illegals have arrived by boat since Labour took charge.
So their immigration plans are going just how they planned.

I'm going by Nobbys post. Nobby was referring to Labour, not the reason they are increasing which was what Oldie was getting at. Oldie wasn't lying.

A lot of our right of centre chums on here use the words lies and lying when they actually mean they disagree with an opinion expressed by someone they don't agree with. It's a definite thing.

Yes,let them go to the wall....if there are too many universities and too few students then close a few uni's down....same as pubs, coal mines, video rental shops, once they are not viable they should close.

When Starmer campaigned for the Labour Leadership he made abolishing tuition fees one of his ten pledges, saying the party ‘must stand by its commitment to end the national scandal of spiralling student debt and abolish tuition fees'. No mention of the rise in the manifesto, and the Education Secretary saying in just July this year that Labour had no plans to raise fees.
Let's not beat around the bush. It is quite clear that Labour were willing to openly lie to get votes.

Steer clear of London on November 19th. It looks like it will be the scene of the first large protest by farmers.

I hope that Trump decides to build a golf course and holiday resort near Clacton that creates hundreds of jobs for local people and brings prosperity to the area....the people of Clacton should be rewarded for getting Reform on the map.

I would have stated quite clearly what ever plans I had, instead of openly lying about it.
