Speaking to Sky News at Labour conference, the health secretary has refused to rule out a ban on smoking in outdoor spaces like pub gardens. Wes Streeting said smoking is "the biggest killer in our country" and "we've got to take action".
Sticks in my throat agreeing with the commie streeting but hopefully happens , a dirty filthy habit partaken by weak willed selfish people . Iโd go a step further & ban smoking full stop , the weak willed canโt help themselves so the decision should be made for them , 100% support from me Off for another shower

I can just imagine the PMs to Ltdgas.
'Hi mate. We're all with you on the immigration stuff, 100%, but maybe we need to word these things a bit more carefully because we don't want the commies getting ideas that we're just kidding.'
And the ones which Ltdgas doesn't get to see:
'Christ guys this ltd guy is out of control. He's going to make the rest of us look like idiots. Any ideas how to get him to tone it down?'
PS these quotes are of course a work of fiction. Almost certainly.

For the last time I am not a Communist. Shall I start calling you Nazi, Fascist, etc You seem quite content from your own words to be called a far right thug.... I said that they were coming for you as you seem very neurotic in your posts constantly referring to communists. Its bizarre quite frankly. It's just trigger words, trying to get a reaction. Oh I know, after a while though it becomes an irritant and it becomes pointless looking through someone's post as I find I cannot take them serious. It's a bit like Bas's 2TK. Sadly they may have a point to make but the seriousness is taken away by the childish point scoring and name calling.

Absolutely, just think he is on a wind up. Itโs more the case you think your commie views are the only ones that count , and since Epping seems to have disappeared you / them have had a concerted effort to shout down any poster that doesnโt agree with them .its obvious your trying to turn this into another gas chat commie cesspit , though upto now you donโt seem to Ban anyone with differing views to thereโs , only a matter of time I suspect It wonโt work with me , Iโll continue to show what a s**t show this bunch of shysters have dumped on us , the ones you voted for !!! Itโs strange though when you commies spent every minute of the day calling the tories that was fine , I can never remember you calling it a wind up etc The other non commie posters donโt seem to Have sussed out your agenda , your commie mates agenda yet , but I certainly have , maybe you need to do like that aghast idiot & call for reinforcements to help you out !! As Iโm here to stay & as I say I will continue to show what a s**t show these bunch of shysters are dumping us

Benefit claimants should have to look for work - Starmer..by Chris Mason, Political editori.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/09/25/00/90059165-13888241-image-a-170_1727221256035.jpgKeir Starmer has said he believes that benefit claimants should be expected to look for work. He added that there would be "hard cases" and that the government and businesses should help those who may feel anxious about re-entering the workplace, but that the "basic proposition that you should look for work is right". The prime minister was speaking to the BBC's Today programme, following his party conference speech in which he said he wanted to "level" with the country about the "trade-offs" people would face. He told Labour activists: "If we want to maintain support for the welfare state, then we will legislate to stop benefit fraud, do everything we can to tackle worklessness." Following the speech, he was asked in an interview with the Today programme if he agreed with the proposition that virtually no-one should claim benefits without trying to get back to work. "The basic proposition that you should look for work is right," he replied. "People need to look for work, but they also need support. "That's why I've gone out to look at schemes where businesses are supporting people back into work from long-term sickness. "Quite often, I think what lies behind this is a fear for someone who's been on long term sickness that - 'can they get back into the workplace? Are they going to be able to cope? Is it all going to go hopelessly wrong?'" The inactivity rate - the number of people out of work and not looking for a job - surged during the Covid pandemic and has since remained at a persistently high level. Nearly 3 million people are out of work due to ill health, a 500,000 increase on 2019. The Office for Budget Responsibility says the cost of sickness and disability benefits will increase by ยฃ30bn in the next five years. i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/09/24/23/90056177-13887943-Prime_Minister_Sir_Keir_Starmer_yesterday_promised_to_introduce_-a-7_1727217234507.jpgSpeaking to the BBC, the prime minister was also pressed on other trade-offs he listed in his speech including the argument that the public had to accept pylons if they wanted cheaper electricity. He said people with concerns should be listened to but added: "We want cheaper electricity, we need cheaper power, we can't pretend that can be done without the need for pylons above the ground. "Politics is about being honest with people, saying: 'If you want xyz then we are going to have to do the following things'." On illegal migration, Sir Keir said there was a backlog of tens of thousands of asylum seekers waiting to have their claim processed, while the government was paying for their accommodation. He accused the previous Conservative government of "pretending there's some magical way to wish away that number". He said his government would process the backlog and return those who had no right to be in the UK. "But I was being clear, if you have that process, there will be people who are processed, who then are able to claim asylum." Around 97,000 people claimed asylum in the year to the end of June 2024, with the largest number coming from Afghanistan. Other nationalities applying in large numbers include those from Iran, Pakistan, Vietnam, India, and Bangladesh. In the same year, 7,190 people who were not granted asylum were returned to their home country.

Benefit claimants should have to look for work - PM Keir Starmer 49 minutes ago Keir Starmer has said he believes that benefit claimants should be expected to look for work. He told Labour activists: "If we want to maintain support for the welfare state, then we will legislate to stop benefit fraud, do everything we can to tackle worklessness." Starmer says he knows what's wrong - but can he fix it? 24 September 2024 Starmer warns of trade-offs as he vows to rebuild Britain 24 September 2024 Following the speech, he was asked in an interview with the Today programme if he agreed with the proposition that virtually no-one should claim benefits without trying to get back to work. "The basic proposition that you should look for work is right," he replied. "People need to look for work, but they also need support. Following Sir Keir's conference speech, Labour announced that doctors, expert in speeding up operations, would be sent to areas with the highest number of people out of work due to ill health. Health Secretary Wes Streeting will set out the measure to Labour activists on the last day of the conference in Liverpool. He is expected to say that "the best of the NHS" would help "get sick Brits back to health and back to work". Disgusting, freezing old days pensioners now forcing people with disabilities & ill health back to work , yet they try to claim there the party that Cares Vile , even the tories didnโt stoop this low ๐ก๐ก

Changes could be announced at the Autumn Budget on October 30 The Labour Party may be considering introducing a controversial pay-per-mile road tax in the upcoming Autumn Budget with drivers warned they could face ยฃ600 cost hikes.
This new tax model aims to address the significant decline in fuel duty revenues expected as more drivers switch to electric vehicles, which currently benefit from tax reductions.
Recommended I thought we were going to be better off under the commies , looks like we now having to pay for there idiotic green agenda ๐๐, no doubt the champagne commies on here already have ev,s so itโll be a great policy ๐๐
