Labours council house policy puts Britons behind immigrants in the queue. Absolutely disgusting. It also now puts them behind Terrorists now in the queue, after labour dropping the Tory policy of no social housing for Terrorists. Information source please?

"A Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government spokesperson said: 'Powers are already in place to make sure those convicted of an offence at the scene of a riot or anti-social behaviour can be excluded from social housing or evicted. 'If a person's immigration leave does not allow them recourse to public funds then they will not be eligible to receive social housing and there is no guarantee of social housing even when a person is eligible.' Labours council house policy puts Britons behind immigrants in the queue. Absolutely disgusting. Are you sure? "A spokesman for the Ministry of Housing told the Sunday Telegraph: 'The vast majority of councils have already adopted local connection tests and 90 per cent of social homes go to UK nationals. 'Those who do not have a right to stay in the UK are already not eligible for social housing.' " Let's turn your figures around. If 90% go to UK nationals, then are you saying that 10% go to migrants? What is the percentage of migrants in the country v UK nationals? This sounds like a disproportionate amount of social housing goes to migrants!

Nobody is guaranteed social housing even if eligible, not even UK citizens.

Bas and France have been asked for a source to their posts, they must have formed their opinions somewhere.

Immigrants have pushed in the queue for Council housing for years. It's part of what they brought to our country, queue jumping.

Can you not see that if 10% of social housing goes to migrants, then there is a problem? Any demand placed upon a tight supply is a problem. But migrants are not the real issue. The real issue has been selling off social housing stock and not replacing it and building only for people of middle to higher incomes. When us boomers were coming to the market we were building in excess of 300,000 houses every year. In the peak years of upto the Thatcher era it was a lot more than that

Labour have scrapped the Rwanda policy, announced closing places like the Bibby Housing Boat and moving migrants out of hotels. So, just where are these people going?
"as Angela Raynor stated in the HOC when asked by Lee Anderson “will these new homes be for local people?” She replied “these homes will be available for those who need them”. Read into that what you will.
Labour have no policy on immigration. Same old parties, same old policies, same old outcome.

"Labour playing a blinder with their appointments to Department of Energy and Net Zero (DESNZ). Six ministers appointed to DESNZ. However, analysis of their background and experience reveals that two with PPE degrees, one with a degree in history, another with a degree in political studies and one with a degree in history and politics. There’s also one minister gaining a degree in Russian studies before studying law. Not one of them has a background in science, engineering or maths. Almost all of them have worked in the public sector for their whole lives, so between them there is precious little experience of the commercial world and no experience of the energy sector." - This is going to end well. DESNZ competance

About 5000 queue jumpers arrived by boat since Labour took charge.

Is this one of them? "As former chief executive of the Climate Change Committee, and former Director of Energy and Climate Change in the Scottish Government, Chris Stark will bring extensive expertise working with the energy sector to remove barriers and achieve the clean power mission on the country’s path to net zero."? In other news announced over the last 24 hours "£3.4 billion funding package has been awarded to build a proposed new subsea and underground 500km cable between Scotland and Yorkshire which could power up to 2million homes. Eastern Green Link 2 (EGL2) is the first of 26 projects to complete a fast-track process to secure funding through Ofgem's new ASTI framework" But of course disgruntled Tory voters and Reform supporters, themselves left dangling in the window of a policy free party and from a leader caught with spreading false information initially posted by Andrew Tate, want to concentrate what ministers had for breakfast. 😂😂

We are not talking about the Tories nor Reform, so why do you always attempt to switch the argument to them? We are talking about the current Labour Government. This "3.4 billion funding package" is not something that has just happened because of Labour. I have no doubt that a project of this size has been a few years in the planning.

This one in entitled 'The Labour government's progress'. Which is ridiculous after less than a couple of months in power. No wonder it draws such ridicule
