Your making no sense... what do I do time after time exactly? - you are not going old Biden on me here are you Oldie? No, YOU suggest,or change the wording of mine and others on here quotes/written text and than spin it to fit your narrative. Who threatened to batter anyone here and how have I justified anything? ...there again you are using slander. Wheres the proof of me doing so? You confused me with someone else. And why should I condemn anything that I'm not aware of, or never had a part of? Honestly, are you losing the plot Joe...sorry I mean Oldie? That's the most nonsense you have ever written on here, like seriously. Carry on. You are a gutless liar Oldie. Answer my question please.. on where I have justified some kind of a threat on here?

I am not. You do it time and time again. You say something (often ludicrous) get picked up on it and then start crying, claiming you didn't mean that. Then proceed to repeat it. I condemn all violence, including threats to "batter" people that have been made on here. Perhaps you should instead of trying to justify it Your making no sense... what do I do time after time exactly? - you are not going old Biden on me here are you Oldie? Or your support of the rioters who attacked Bridewell Police Station and attempted to set fire to Police Officers? You called that "legitimate protest" !

I know the truth.Yet in your warped mind you honestly believe what you said is the truth. Where have I justified a threat of violence on here that was made by someone...? If there has been then you have honestly confused me with someone else. Anyway there is no point. But you using your classic Oldie catchphrase "Name calling again"is a good one to finish this on, so thanks.🥱👍

Trump gunman should not have had 'direct line of sight' says US Homeland Security chief..by Sam Hancock and Aoife Walshichef.bbci.co.uk/ace/standard/1024/cpsprodpb/44b7/live/27733640-427a-11ef-9e1c-3b4a473456a6.jpgA "direct line of sight" to Donald Trump should never have occured, the US Homeland Security secretary says Alejandro Mayorkas was speaking after a gunman on a roof attempted to kill the former president at a rally on Saturday Meanwhile, Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle says they are working to "prevent an incident like this from ever taking place again" Trump says he is "supposed to be dead" after the shooting - calling it a "miracle" that he survived He also says he will "bring the country together" at the Republican convention this week The man who tried to kill Trump - Thomas Crooks, 20 - was shot and killed by the Secret Service but his motive remains unknown School classmates remember a "normal boy" who had been rejected by the school's rifle team Full steam ahead at the Republican National Convention..by Nada Tawfik, Reporting from the conventionichef.bbci.co.uk/news/800/cpsprodpb/vivo/live/images/2024/7/15/7555544c-f78f-4829-a51d-c64bafd45dba.jpgFormer US President Donald Trump is not expected to speak until Thursday night at the Republican National Convention (RNC). Meanwhile, Donald Trump Jr, the former president's son, is expected to speak on Wednesday. South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley - who was one of Trump's fiercest rivals during the Republican primary - was not originally expected at the convention. Following the assassination attempt, it's reported she'll now be addressing the crowd there. Other political speakers reportedly include Georgia congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, Arizona Senate contender Kari Lake, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. We're also expecting to hear from the head of the Ultimate Fighting Championship Dana White, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, and Teamsters union general president Sean O'Brien.

Adding to the posts above: Donald Trump's classified documents case thrown out by Florida judge..by Caitlin Wilson and Sam Hancockichef.bbci.co.uk/ace/standard/1024/cpsprodpb/f4d9/live/976f7150-42bd-11ef-9e1c-3b4a473456a6.jpgIn a big legal win for Donald Trump, a judge in Florida throws out the classified documents case against him Judge Aileen Cannon says the justice department's appointment of special prosecutor Jack Smith violates the US Constitution Trump says it should be the "first step" in dismissing other criminal cases against him The former president is in Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention, two days after he survived an assassination attempt Trump is expected to name his running mate - who would become vice-president if he wins November's election - later on Monday Meanwhile, the fallout from Saturday's shooting continues - the US Homeland Security secretary says the gunman should never have had a direct line of sight, while Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle says they are working to "prevent an incident like this from ever taking place again" ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/800/cpsprodpb/vivo/live/images/2024/7/15/ad15c068-4c39-4a39-aecd-2862c74eed2d.pngAileen Cannon has served in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida since 2020. Today, she dismissed the classified documents case against former president Donald Trump. Prior to today's decision, critics have argued that Judge Cannon, who was appointed to her position by Donald Trump when he was president, has made rulings favourable to him and taken too long to settle pre-trial matters. The case against Trump was randomly assigned to her last year from a pool of four available judges. It is by far her most high-profile one to date - as the New York Times review of cases suggests, she has overseen only four that went to trial, all of them brief and basic court proceedings. The 43-year-old was born in Colombia, is the daughter of a Cuban exile and grew up in Miami. She maintains ties with the conservative Federalist Society and once clerked for a conservative appeals court judge.

Someone else who is going to get caught out for things he said in the past is David Lammy,in 2018 he really slagged President Trump off in Time magazine, called him a misogynist a neo nazi sympathiser etc etc. Lammy may regret his words when Trump becomes President again, could Britain put up with a foreign secretary who is persona no grata in Washington ? surely a cabinet reshuffle will happen and Lammy will be given some other job where his 'talents' are better used...

Agreed Trymer,i feel embarrassed that 'mastermind' Lammy is representing GB. The Left in general use OTT insults to describe the Right. This forum and the Gas Works is a microcosm of the West.Quite easy to spot them. The media too."Far Right or Hard Right etc. References to 1930s Germany.Etc. BBC.Joe Brands "acid" joke on Farage eg. It's most likely influenced lunatics. Desperately disapointing ,entitled, snobbish right on bunch of wokers.

Trump ....classified documents case dismissed ! Yet another stupid legal case brought against him. Will the Democrats ever learn? This idea that these legal cases against Trump are being brought by an opposing political party is for the birds It is standard MAGA rhetoric, nothing is their fault, it's the Democrats, the Media or some mythical "deep state". The fact is Trump was caught with truck load of official documents in his private residence and refused to hand them back when requested. It is then for the courts to decide whether this was a breach of the laws on the statute book. But it never got that far. Judge Cannon, a Trump appointed, (one her peers in her jurisdiction told her to recuse herself from Trump's cases) tossed the case not on balance of evidence but because she decided that Special Prosecutor was not correctly appointed. That decision itself predicated in words of the summation in the Presidential Immunity case. The words by Clarence Thomas, a man himself who has a dubious background. So to be clear, the courts are not saying Trump is innocent, Cannon has declared the case be tossed on an opinion, not evidence. A further sad erosion of American democracy where the demarcation line between the executive and the judiciary is broken. Dark days, and should be on our guard for the same thing happening here.

How odd Oldie. In every other case that they have tried to prosecute Trump, you have always insisted that the Judicary are 'independent' and only following the law. Now, you claim that the judge is bent when it can be said she is following the law. Make your mind up. It wasn't 'dark days' when the judge was a Democrat was it.

Following the law in the courts where a jury comes to its own decision. This has been denied by Judge Cannon. I see you have not denied my assertions, perhaps you were not aware of the detail. "It can be said she is following the law" Which law would that be then?
