Perhaps wrongly headed, by the means of the overnight strikes , would it mean that it will agitate a more rigourous and stronger response from the "Iranian" outfit " and therefore become a more hostile environment, and then create further problems across the globe..in the way of the typical" suicide bomber " mingling with Joe public both here and the US ?Then the further attacks from US and UK and others to " bring them all down " ..as we see in Russia where it seems ordinary people are expendable and become ameans to an end to fight wars , this is the mentality in these parts of the world

I guess the Iranians planted explosives in their own graveyard in Kerman, killing circa 100 of their own people

Inevitable that when the US does something the UK will support them, every British prime minister becomes the Potus poodle, the laugh this time is that Biden hates Britain.
Keeping the international sea lanes open should be the UNs job,if the UN is so useless maybe Britain should leave it and save us some money.
I am convinced that there is a 'combined military council' for Russia,China,Iran North Korea etc and they are coordinating activities against the West, financial warfare and online as well as on various battlefields.

One interesting point is that no Chinese flagged ship has been attacked in the Red Sea.

"Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi went further, describing Israel’s bombardment of civilians in Gaza as actions that ‘have gone beyond the scope of self-defence’. At the same time, Beijing avoided condemning Hamas’s atrocities against civilians."

It must be election year in both the US and UK. When in electoral trouble wave the flag and go and bomb some people.

Tony Blair and his gang bombed enough countries when he was PM.
We (as in Britain ) get involved in wars far to easily, I was thinking about WW1, Britain got involved because we had a treaty with Belgium...when Germany invaded Belgium Britain went to war. Imagine that, over a million servicemen killed and maimed for the freedom of a country that half its inhabitants hate so much that they want to break away from it.

Imagine that, over a million servicemen killed and maimed for the freedom of a country that half its inhabitants hate so much that they want to break away from it. Ha ha Laughably simplistic. It was nothing to do with the Austria-Hungary empire of course. "On 28 June 1914, Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, and his wife were assassinated by a Serbian-backed terrorist. During the crisis that followed, Europe's leaders made a series of political, diplomatic and military decisions that would turn a localised conflict in south-east Europe into a global war. Austria-Hungary, with German encouragement, declared war on Serbia on 28 July. Russia's support of Serbia brought France into the conflict. Germany declared war on Russia on 1 August and France on 3 August. Germany's violation of Belgian neutrality and British fears of German domination in Europe brought Britain and its empire into the war on 4 August." But hey why let the facts get in the way of Ill considered and inaccurate comments. Par for the course for many on this forum.
