"The number of nurses registered to work in the UK has hit a record high, the nursing regulator has said, at it warned against unethical recruitment from countries with their own shortages. Some 808,488 nurses, midwives and nursing associates are now registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council – a rise of 37,091 in a year. This includes 748,528 nurses, 42,974 midwives and 10,560 nursing associates – all more than ever before."
Just saying..........

Awful that we’re taking nurses from countries that have there own shortages , consequence of lefties still being drunk on unlimited migration , f.o.m ( though it sounds though stammer is having none of it ) hopefully with brexit we can start training our own to do any vacancies , nurses etc allowing those nurses were importing to look after there own people

You absolute fruits. So when folk from equivalent economies / professional standards moved freely, you objected. You voted for a party that cut Nursing Burseries. We end up with a terrible shortage and then blame those of us who objected to those decisions.
I mean really.
It's ok, the Beano is still on Black Friday sale. Or could you could tune into your probable hero Mr Farage on some god awful programme and.....

Don't you think it's time you removed your Brexit Blinkers? It sounds as though you are the Beano reader! You really do yourself no favours at times.

Wife , daughter working all over Xmas / new year , maybe that’s something streeting will sort out , giving them a break , though slagging nurses off seems more in his mo Not sure what they all fawn over him about , much prefer the previous shadow health bloke , much more were all in it together , than streeting and them / us words , though no doubt goes down well with the nasty 99% of his party when they let there we love the people veil down !!

I've been listening to Was Streeting MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Health and Social Care. He talks a lot of sense about NHS reform. Let's see how long he lasts.

Listening to Radio 4 last week, they were talking about record numbers of people presenting with STDs (again) and a massive increase in people with Scabies. Measles on the rise....TB which was eradicated here decades ago is back.

Go on, show us the stats with a link to the source...if you can [br I don’t need to show you stats , I saw the effect on wages of agency workers when we were flooded with workers from the eu , agency’s put rates down , and companies went years without giving pay rises as they didn’t need to as they had a que for the job , it’s called wage suppression , I saw that first hand , agencies who paid £14/15 ph put there rates down to minimum wage , when the flood of cheap Labour from the eu stopped rates went back upto £18/£20 ph as they had to fight to get employees , companies were giving 2/3 pay rises a year + 1,000,s in retention bonuses as they couldn’t afford to loose what they had That’s the difference between me & you , I’m working class ,my experiences are of a working class employee , I don’t think you’ve done a days graft in your life as you never mention real life experiences of work , it’s all stats , gdp The evidence was put before you in 2016 , the working class said f**k you , we’ve had enough of our wages being suppressed by cheap Labour from the eu , while the likes of you bury your head in the sand & keep shouting immigration is great , 17 million didn’t think it was ,I know by first hand experience , But your becoming a minority , just a few lefty fruitcakes left now , your party are now saying we will get it down to 10,s of 1,000,s , there now getting it , or the sensible ones like starmer / reeves

When people abuse their bodies with alcohol or drugs after they have been warned by Doctors not to because of their condition should they be allowed to keep getting NHS treatment ?
