They seem fixated on waiting lists. The problems with the NHS go far deeper than just waiting lists. I think we have all said on here that there needs to be a restructuring on the way the NHS is funded. The whole concept of Health Trusts is flawed, because it introduces multiple levels of non-medical staffing that is not needed. We should be looking at how other countries operate their health services, because I don't think anyone looks at the UK to learn how to do it ! Amazingly Wes Streeting said almost exactly that on R4 this morning. Plus Highlighting the lack of capital expenditure after 2010 And The disastrous Andrew Langley attempt at Reform in 2012 |

Splitting social care and causing bed blocking is another major issue. |
