"That makes the huge number of deaths of women and children and destruction of entire towns OK then?" - Of course not Terry, and I expect better of you. By the way, what entire towns were destroyed by the British in Afghanistan? Are you aware of the Rules of Engagement (RoE's) that were in place for British troops to follow? Very well aware of the rules of engagement hence we have numerous investigations, driven by ambulance chasing lawyers, trying to provide often spurious false charges against British soldiers. Where have I said the UK destroyed towns? I talked of the Israelis destroying towns and in your defence of Israel you are trying to change the subject. I have asked you how you would feel if the UK had had so much collateral damage in warfare in Afghan, such as the death of a huge number of women and children and the destruction of towns. I fully understand if you don't want to answer.

It's not the way we operate. Plus, and many people are totally unaware of this, any British military person has the right to question or refuse an order if they deem it to be wrong. There is this myth that the military just follow orders. This is not the case at all.

I guess I am not going to get an answer, so will leave it there, thanks.

I do know that if 10,000 British nationals were murdered in a single day in the UK, I'd be volunteering for service the very next morning, even though I'm 64!

France and the USA are calling for a 21-day ceasefire on the Lebanon border. Why weren't they calling for this eleven months ago?

France and the USA are calling for a 21-day ceasefire on the Lebanon border. Why weren't they calling for this eleven months ago? Because it didn't suit Netanyahu Nor the American / Western military / industrial complex

I'm sure you would, but you still haven't answered the question. Look at it the other way, if Israel attacked the Palestinian Territories and killed 1700 citizens at will and without reason, and then the Palestinians killed a vast quantity [Tens of thousands] of women and children in retaliation and razed Tel Aviv to the ground, what would your reaction be?

The streets of the UK are still unsafe for Jewish people,in part because of the lapse attitude to their people, from our Left.

Yep, with the UK dragged right behind. Something we should be afraid of
