I am a supporter of the struggle of the Palestinian people for their occupied homelands, and I am an opponent of Israeli expansionism and annexation of Jerusalem.

The recent crimes of the Iran-funded Islmanist rape and death cult have nothing to do with that, and I condemn them absolutely, and understand Israeli retaliation against Hamas's Gaza.

The whole situation is truly awful.

'm no history buff on this ,But how come there is so much an affiliation with the US and Israel ? ,at the first hint of trouble it's the US who are there to " be counted upon "

You are talking about the West Bank, which is ran by the Palestinian Authority. It's totally different to Gaza, which is ran by Hamas. You also seem to forget that Israel forcibly removed it's own people from Gaza and areas of the West Bank and gave the land back to the Palestinians.

The bare facts are that Hamas want the complete death and destruction of all Jews. They will not accept any peace talks, any reconciliation, any compromise. This talk of the Palestinians becoming 'fed up' or 'tired' is complete and utter nonsense. They have been offered a Two State solution, and they have rejected it!

I think we both know that the only solution that will achieve any chance of peace is to revert to the borders that existed pre 1967 war. The report I copied was referring to acts that have occurred within those territories appropriated. As much as this is a repulsive act of terrorism by Hamas we shouldn't lose sight of the plight of Palestinians in general and the fact that retribution taken by the Israelis will impact those Palestinians the most. It is an endless cycle of the killing of innocents caused by lunatic administration's in Gaza and the current fruit cakes running Israel in Tel Aviv.
Shouting won't help change that.

If the Israelis were to retreat to the pre 1967 borders it will not stop! I know that and you also know that, so stop trying to use it as a justification for the murder of innocent people. You only have to read the Hamas Charter to understand this. Do you have a comment on the bit regarding "peace initiatives" in the Hamas Charter? Which part of "there cannot be peace until all of the Jews are dead" don't you understand?

The situation is very complex pre this attempt at an invasion.
The unstoppable and the immovable.
One won't talk and is insistent on the death of the country.
The other runs an apartheid system and encourages settlers to take property by stealth.

In the middle are people who just want to live their lives and of course can't. There is no simple solution.
Just angry men convincing and using young people to fight for lost and historic causes. Just like Putin.

But this move by Hamas [who have learned nothing from previous conflicts like the 1967 war], which is as abhorrent as it is stupid, is suicide by proxy for the Palestinians.
Murdering ordinary Israelis at a music festival, and subsequent actions are condemned by all.
Israel will retaliate with an iron fist and ordinary people on both sides, as has already been seen will suffer and die.
Mankind never learns.

Hamas will just see that as a weakness which in their eyes justifies the killing of Jews. They will just carry on. Also, Iran are not what you would call an "Arab State" and they are using the Palestinians to fight their proxy war, just as they are doing in Yeman.

Hamas, as an organised group would not exist. They only do by force in Gaza.
