I am with Cheshire Apart from the parties involved nobody knows the full details. Like the mother of the two men involved has said, calm down and let the investigation take its course. The only thing I want to hear from her and her family at the moment is an apology to the policewoman nursing a broken nose.

Look at the he new footage, then the kick in the head footage. The Copper did act proportionally in the circumstances, after the violent attack from the Muslims. Give the Police involved a medal each Get the suspended one back on duty. Lock up the Muslims, shame we can't deport them. Calls for proportionality are ludicrous in cases such as this, especially when invoked by the usual suspects, such as politicians and media figures who have no absolutely no experience of dealing with situations like this. Should Israel had responded to Hamas's murder, mutilation, rape and abduction of 1,400 Israelis by responding in kind? Similarly, should the policeman in question have broken the 'victim's nose' after subjecting him to a sustained physical assault? Would this make everything better and would we all be happier?

I made a prediction last week before the airport incident that we would see riots in northern towns and cities, there are people looking for an excuse to kick off,a few hot days and once it goes it will spread like wild fire.

It's always been the case - if you look at the riots of the late 70s and early 80s, things always kicked off in the summer. Toxteth, Brixton, St Paul's..... The main difference being that the British Black community actually had legitimate grievances, including the attitudes of wider British society and their treatment by the police. More recently, I do have issues with BLM's political agenda, which I see as more about power than equality, but I remain generally sympathetic to the Black community's struggles. In comparison, the Leeds riot was an 'excuse to kick off'.

Anybody want to defend this? Not defend. And, as someone who does not believe the Police go around trying to arrest anyone they please, there must have been a reason they tried to arrest someone stood at the car park ticket machine paying for their parking. So what led them to try and arrest this bloke? Stories abound. The bloke in question was there, with others, to pick up his mother who had arrived in Manchester. Allegedly she had been involved in an argument with another passenger on the flight. The other participant in that argument then rams his luggage trolley into her at baggage claim. There was an altercation in arrivals as a result which police intervened in which resulted in several police officers being attacked when an arrest was being attempted, resulting in a broken nose for a female officer. The now infamous video showing the man being stamped on was at the tail end of all this as officers finally executed the arrest. I think we should calm down and not fall into the trap of "us and them" which just plays to a certain audience and wait for the authorities to put all the evidence together and come out with their conclusions. On the basis that if any of that is true I will wager that the guy in question will get sent down on several counts including ABH/GBH That police officer who stamped on his head will sit out a short suspension whilst he reflects on his professionalism. But the public, in general, need to stop stoking this and see it for what it may well be. A hot headed and stupid young man who thinks invoking violence against the police or indeed anyone, is a way of defending his mother. I bet she is mortified. Ambulance chasing lawyers and other hangers on are just an aside, bottom feeders who rely on media frenzy. Don't provide a platform, let the authorities do their job

It's a tactic the Left play and to be fair quite skillfully. Naw. Let them know we really don't trust you ( law, government ),not to let Islam off the hook.

Goodness me What has it got to do with Islam? Think about it. I don't need to, I am not the one attempting to create a link. You are, so what has this event got to do with Islam?

There was an article the other day about a man being sentenced for assaulting a girl and trying to kill her brother. Did that get mentioned on here? 🤔

It's upsetting how polarised everything is these days, most of the hate is clearly based on ignorance of Islam and quite likely no experience of relationships with people of other beliefs. I work in a City that has around 60 different languages, and it's all fairly harmonious. Probably 50% of my work is spent with Muslim colleagues or clients, I share a desk with a Muslim lady. Almost without exception all of my experiences as an NHS worker have been pleasant when interacting with Muslims, visiting at home, in hospital, community centres etc. In 30 years of NHS work I've been assaulted 4 or 5 times, always white males. The City I work in is most definitely a richer place for its diversity

Old stats I found from Gov.uk As at 31 March 2014, the latest point in time for which data is available for public use, the male prison population in England and Wales for all offenders serving immediate custodial sentence for rape was 5,682. Of this, there were 676 offenders who self-declared their religion as Muslim (12% of the total). ..... Now the population of Muslims in the UK is around 4million,or 6% today in 2024, higher than 2014 in the above report. By 2030 it is thought to be up to 8%, an 2% increase in the next 6 years.. Thats not taking in to consideration of all the off the record illegals coming in,which will only increase under labour.. dramatically btw! The percentage of Muslim criminals convicted of rape in the UK justice system compared to the Muslim population in the UK is huge. That's a problem for now, and tomorrow. No looking away from it.

Thanks Popup, yes of course. I know it's entirely futile but I was trying to tease out a justification. Some months ago the accusations on here were that the authorities were hiding crime statistics to avoid showing that non white Brits were responsible for the majority of crime. When I posted up the published stats I was told, "not those stats"🤭

I want diversity to work,I truely do.Ive had great friends from from all around the world,I was going to marry a Spanish girl until a few years ago so I hate blind racism. But the hope for diversity, and the actual results of multiculturalism being just dumped on this generation are two different things and is why we have the problems we do today.
