Probably more transfer activity to come... but... KP first out the blocks with 15th. Eppinggas 17th. "Insane" to think Rovers will do significantly better than last season. Based on the quote from Einstein. 'The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results'.

a slightly improved position i would imagine, but no higher that 12th .....and a big drift to the idea on "his majesty" leaving the building before the season is done

21st. Aaza and Barton gone by the new year. Prigozhin new boss but fails to stop the rot and few are bothered by us having a war criminal in charge

Sadly looking at our current playing squad I don’t think we have the quality that is required now in this division to launch a realistic bid for promotion or even a play off spot. I think we will finish around 12th or 13th, I’m going to opt for 13th.

14th - A poor start, some form running up to Christmas, and then a downhill slalom finish to the season.

Ouch! After some consideration and re-consideration ... Being optimistic with a couple more signings [hopefully not too late] - 10th Realistic - 15th I don't even want to contemplate a pessimistic view.

17th. More drama with the new temporary stand. Fruit Market stadium to join list of other stadium projects that never happened. Barton to go.

Barton won't be pushed. There are two scenarios that I see him moving on (1) He is offered a position elsewhere that is a higher draw (2) Wael removes significant funding and therefore Joeybags cannot sign players.
I think option (1) is unlikely since Barton does not seem to be regarded as a sucessful manager yet that would result in a higher place team wanting to take the gamble of recruiting him and his entourage.
Option (2) is more likely if the fruit market thing goes pear shape or slips on a banana skin.
I think we'll have a top half finish if we sign another 4-6 decent players. Last season's issues were really down to an imbalanced small squad and a few odd tactical calls.

I dont disagree with you but the some could apply to most clubs in the division. tbh I dont see Rovers signing 2 more decent players let alone 6....unless Collins gets sold.

Bit of a throwaway analysis really!! I'm encouraged that we seem to have assembled a few goal scorers but our midfield seems average and our defence did not perform last year. If we sign a Connor Taylor and modern-day Chris Lines plus add some squad depth then I hope, believe, the team can have top half finish. Joey needs to also needs to deal with weak points that he has instilled or created in his leadership - he has had a poor discipliniary record whilst have alienated a few players that he signed. He needs to get on top of that. Personally, I'd find it difficult working with a business leader who outside of work would quote thought pieces on thir twitter which were contrary to the way that person applied themselves. Bit of David Brent thing going on there. Looking at the disciplinary predictions: In the 21/22 season Rovers finished 23 out of 24 In the 22/23 season Rovers finished 17 out of 24

It is my personal view but I think it’s all over for Rovers and the Fruit Market, and it’s recent, if a fruity stadium does get built it’s more likely to see Rugby or American Football or track & special events. Again, in my opinion it’s why we now have the sudden focused borrowed money rush on rebuilding at the Mem.

Hopefully the club have other sites under investigation. Can't understand why the runway redevelopment activity between Filton and Patchway hasn't been mentioned as a possible site. lenty of land there still to be developed. Can't think the Arena will swallow it all

With the window still open and I reckon JB deliberately leaves it late with his loan quota to get the best players available (or he’s too busy setting up his subscription Twitter account) it is hard to forecast. 4 additions to the squad who are likely to be first team regulars then we could do well. Without them we may be similar to last season. Anyway, I’ll go for anywhere between 8th and 15th. I’ll settle for 11th.
UTG!
