Not to dissimilar to Wael with B***** then……. Hadn’t heard about the chauffeuring bit but the signings are the ones I had in mind - Riordan in particular is the one that still makes me shudder Then Lord only knows what Gary Kenneth will make you do. Didn't quite a few of the Scottish signings allegedly have an alcohol problem (more than usual)? I remember McGhee saying that he wasn't proud to be managing a club in L2 and that he would have to consider an offer from a higher league if one came in. I didn't find this particularly offensive, as he had previously managed championship clubs on the edge of getting promoted to the PL. We'll however forgive him this, as he was goodness and light personified compared to the odious little p*ick Buckle. I was having a fairly good evening until you mentioned Gary Kenneth.

So... with three games left. These are the punters still in the game (IMO): Swiss 1st Basel 5th Bluetornadoes 6th richmace 6th Bamber Gashead 7th o2o2bo2ba 10thwarehamgas 11th laughinggas 11th chelt_gas 12th LIS 12th oldie 12th Mrs V Smeg 12th Delsy 13th Taiwan 14th JeffNZ 15th Cheshire 15th KP 15th Foran for England 16th trymer 17th Epping 17th Cabbage Patch Blues 18throwdenhill 25thLooks like the realists will win the day. Surely Rovers can still finish in 18th or even 19th place? CPB is going to be furious... As for me. I am indeed a realist. Second season of realism / cynicism pays off.

Predictions as follows: Swiss 1st (Update available due to perceived sarcasm) Basel 5th Bluetornadoes 6th Richmace 6th Bamber Gashead 7th o2o2bo2ba 10th Warehamgas 11th Laughinggas 11th Cheltgas 12th (Suggested top half, edit available chelt_gas ) LIS 12th Oldie 12th Mrs V Smeg 12th Delsy 13th Taiwan 14th JeffNZ 15th Cheshire 15th KP 15th Foran for England 16th Trymer 17th Epping 17th Cabbage Patch Blues 18th Rowdenhill 25th. (Yes, I know. But this means that 22nd, 23rd or 24th would grasp victory). A predicted overall average finishing position of 12.3, or 12th, if you prefer. Looks like we share the prize money Cheshiregas and kingswood Polak. I'm thinking of buying another yacht, how about you guys?

Bugatti Chiron , no worries with this kind of dough 😂 Also I believe KP was joint winner season 2022-23. So I guess it's a double roll-over event. All hail the prescient Pole!

When Poland were in the World Cup in 74 a Polish faith healer had told my parents I possessed power to see and heal. I predicted all of Polands games and they all bet on them, even the 1-0 semi final loss to the then west Germany. Maybe I am seeing that happen again now I am living healthy. Of course it’s just plain luck but based upon what we have brought in and how the club have regressed. I now see the club dying and within 3 seasons. Please mark this post and we shall see if this happens

To be honest I am just not emotionally invested any more. But I wish Bristol Rovers and Gasheads all the best for next season. Off and on the pitch, I am very concerned. But it doesn't eat me up like it used to.

I predicted the exact score lines. we all agreed that the money won would have been given up had we beaten that soggy pitch as, later on, the German players said Poland had the best team in the tournament and they they got lucky with the game going ahead. Beckenbauer said the pace of the Polish was scary and they feared them. Such a shame. I still have the silver medal poster with team, in the hallway. Those were the days my friend. Also and no doubt if it, our best player, Włodzimierz Lubanski could not play due to Roy Macfarlands tackle. They went into beat Brazil in the 3rd place play off, comfortably, sans breaking sweat
