To form a Government Ice.π Decades away from that, sadly. Maybe not that long, look at how some of the newer parties in Europe have taken off (AfD for instance) also a LOT of people here are fed up with the lib/lab/con fiasco, Reform already got more votes than the liberals and labour will lose millions of voters at the next election.

98 second places, with 89 of these second to Labour. Reform can compete. Thanks BT. Which just goes to show Reform, if a threat at all, are a threat to the Tories, not to Labour. If Reform had finished second to the Tories in 89 out of 98 of their runner up slots, it would be demonstrable that they were beating Labour. They weren't. They were beating the Tories. Which just means the same pool of right of centre votes being spread differently across the right of centre parties. That won't make a difference to the number of votes obtained by left of centre parties. They aren't taking left wing votes. They're nicking their support from the Tories.

I think the low showing in the election indicates as much. The fact that this default government got in with only 9 million votes is a political UK tragedy and shows how shambolic all the options are.

Labour are already getting poor results at local elections, by the next general election people will want to give them a kicking and they will lose millions of votes (probably to the greens or the liberals) in some constituences where Reform came second they could actually win if they keep up the momentum. In Bristol west Thangam Debonnaire (labour) lost her seat to a green but thats because of the massive amount of students there,in other places the labour MP losing votes like that would benefit Reform. You are right about the low turnout, people are fed up with the way that democracy 'works' that will help parties outside the lib/lab/con herd.

To my point about your attraction to dictatorships, what system are your alternatives to our current system of democracy you would recommend?

Imagine, a guy who comments on skin colour every other post, who slags of migrants in the most outrageous language but was a migrant himself, is offended by a term "a malignant cancer fed by ignorance" Truth hurts, obviously

Like malignant cancer, cells multiplying fed by ignorance On par with how Hitler might describe Jewish people. Something that needed to be destroyed.

Have you seen the Aphgani bloke ( videos about ),has a tattoo of a Kalashnikov on his face.
He's threatened to shoot Farage.
Well the French allowed him on a boat and it appears he's now in England.
The Police and Government authority have not even answered Farages question, is he in custody?
As he's from Afghanistan we won't send him back as we've deemed it an unsafe country.
Fair play to the Germans, they're flying them back.
Our human rights lawyers ( politically motivated and often Britain haters ) will be happy this gun obsessed nutter is in our country.
Something awful,on a big scale seems inevitable in the UK.

Our Nige has just become even more important to the UK. πΊπΈπ¬π§ Farage is a very important ally for US / UK relations. Hopefully he can make up for the insane ramblings of David Lammy.
