Reform will be writing to the 1352 Conservative Councillors in a week or two. This to invite them to join Reform before they select their own candidates for next years council elections. Basel, as sad as it for me to admit Reform are done, currently. It was just Farage's chance to get attention and become a MP then jog off to America. Nothing more.To suggest anything otherwise would be naive I'm disappointed for their lack of policies, outside of immigration, and even that is more than suspect and weak. Also disgusted by how Farage threw Tommy Robinson under the bus in terms of the riots, when it was Farage that shared the incorrect information about the Southport attacker, and not Tommy but he claimed Robinson had. As a new party I hope that this changes over the next decade, but I dont believe it will.

We were talking about this yesterday and I said that they (Reform) need to start at council level dealing with mundane stuff and gain grass roots support,Farage will have to get people in to organise the party, whether he will or not we will have to see.

I've lost almost all faith in Farage. He loves the attention, he has the "it factor " to attract people to his cause for the big day, but not much more substance after.

Most succesful politician that i can remember...he led a campaign to get Britain out of the EU and he succeeded, built up UKIP from a joke party to winning EU elections..not easy ask Anna Soubry.

Agreed, but we are here today and that's what counts. I find it hard to call him a politician today if I'm honest. I know that sounds ridiculous.

Proud to say "I bloody hope that's the end of him that November. Then instigated a riot on Capital Hill and people died. There was freak wearing horns... I thought "Oh my god, the barbarians are truly at the gate" And here we are, about to let them in

Next challenge Council elections next year.I've forgotten how many constituencies voted Reform into second place, but it was loads, perhaps in the 90s.We'll see. Farage openly admitted his admiration for the Libs in their successes at Council level. GB News will continue to have all sides heard, but Reform get a growing platform. The polls look favourably on Reform.

How many times were Reform and the Greens in second place ?..Scroll down for the answer, you are right with the underlined guess. commonslibrary.parliament.uk/2024-general-election-performance-of-reform-and-the-greens/

Reform can compete. Thanks BT.
