You’d do well to attend one. It might have given you an insight into how to think critically The Lefts take over of our Universities is a disgrace. Being critical of all things Right, does'nt take great intellect. According to you Bas everything in the country has been taken over by 'Lefts' If that is so why have we got the most right wing Government ever which has pillaged billions from the Treasury for their friends [cf £37billion for a failed track & trace system, PPE etc], has reduced our freedoms, is destroying our NHS with nurses striking for the very first time, promotes hatred against people you have never met and allowed pollution from water companies on an industrial scale with under investment and billions in debt to pay shareholders? It has promoted non dom living and tax avoidance on a huge scale for the rich and rewarded them with tax cuts whilst penalising the poorest in society and chasing benefit fraud which is tiny compared to tax evasion, which they turn a blind eye to. Those 'lefts' aren't doing a very good job are they....

Add to that using the bulk of the benefit bill to subsidise corporations who pay little or no tax and then stoke self righteous indignation about benefit scroungers and immigrants which is a sideshow compared to the real issue of tax avoidance. Plus of course rewarding the people who crashed the economy in 2008 by removing the cap on the bonuses they get from gambling with other people’s money but not bearing any of the risk.

Tax avoidance is perfectly legal. Have you bought any booze or cigarettes in Duty Free since Brexit? If so, you are practicing tax avoidance. "Plus of course rewarding the people who crashed the economy in 2008 by removing the cap on the bonuses they get from gambling with other people’s money but not bearing any of the risk.". Um....No. The government does not reward them. Private companies do. Plus, the vast majority of those who work in finance and receive a bonus were not responsible for the crash. I think you are generalising a bit

Big difference I think between individuals avoiding tax on a couple of bottles of booze and 400 fags and big corporations paying no tax yet still expecting the taxpayer to fund their employees because they pay them less than the living wage.
Personally I’d happily give up the duty free “perk” if all tax avoidance were clamped down on. The scale that it happens on a corporate level and by the wealthy totally dwarfs any avoidance that individuals do.

Under age driver shot and killed by a Copper.Copper facing a murder charge,we'll eventually see what the court decides.
Riots and looting and it's spreading.
Another failed multicultural experiment. Imported crime waves.
40,000 Coppers put on the streets, but it got worse.
I expect things in Europe,UK and USA to become increasingly dangerous. It's a crying shame.

ichef.bbci.co.uk/live-experience/cps/1440/cpsprodpb/8921/production/_130250153_gettyimages-1349606217.jpgMany French cities woke up to scenes of devastation following a third night of riots in protest of the police shooting of a teenager, Nahel M, on Tuesday. More than 800 people were arrested last night. Shops were looted and thousands of vehicles were set ablaze in cities and towns across France despite 40,000 officers being mobilised to keep the peace. President Emmanuel Macron cut short his trip to Brussels, where he was attending a European summit, to chair crisis talks in Paris. French PM Elisabeth Borne said "all options" were being considered to stop the unrest, when asked if a state of emergency was being contemplated. Several towns are imposing evening curfews. Marseille is suspending all public transport from 19:00 (17:00 GMT) tonight, and public demonstrations have been banned today. ichef.bbci.co.uk/live-experience/cps/624/cpsprodpb/vivo/live/images/2023/6/30/08df306e-5a5e-4e9a-ad00-eac4d37bcc9c.jpgMouna didn’t want to be photographed, but was keen to share her thoughts after a third night of violence in her neighbourhood. The tower blocks of the Pablo Picasso area in Nanterre have been at the centre of the recent wave of protest. Nahel, the teenager killed on Tuesday, lived and died only 1km (0.6 miles) away from here. “I have lived here for 22 years and it’s never been that violent. Those kids should be at home and not on the street all night destroying everything," Mouna says. The bus stop outside her apartment block was smashed at 04:00 this morning: "I couldn’t sleep. I wanted to film what they were doing, but I was scared I'd be spotted. "I fear it is going to carry on. I heard them saying 'see you tonight' as they were leaving. There is a problem between the youth and the police, and I’m sad to say that the police has a lot to answer for." Mouna adds: "The police has always been good to me, but I see the way they talk to young people and they conduct random checks - they are not respectful." ichef.bbci.co.uk/live-experience/cps/624/cpsprodpb/vivo/live/images/2023/6/30/fdc6ce9e-c89d-4088-b713-4742b2e6a956.jpg

Apparently there was rioting in Belgium last night too,Germany worried it could spread there, probably kick off in Sweden but no one will be able to tell as its quite normal for gun and grenade attacks there anyway. I read that the Police in France were given more freedom to use their guns against car drivers in 2017 after terrorist attacks there, damned if they shoot and damned (or killed) if they dont if the driver is a nutjob terrorist. I see that tosser Macron was quick to throw the cop under the bus,he should have waited until the court case before criticising him, I wonder if the cops legal team will pick up on Macrons remarks. Next time rioters get near the presidential palace or motorcade the Police should leave the area and all take a sicky or go on strike.

45,000 Coppers now.1300 arrests.
One Police Force leader, responding to Macron apparently siding with the dead teenager (only 17), said, 'we're dealing with vermin'. Tourists have been advised to avoid certain areas, although it's not considered unsafe.Yet.Are they joking?
Rioters, looters and in some cases armed with guns.
Integration and multiculturalism looks like an abject failiure.
Can you see the wounds of all this healing?

Macron has cancelled a trip to Germany ( their EU partner ), to deal with the riots and looting.
I imagine he's desperate not to call in the Military, not a good look.
Apparently last nights shenanigans were not as bad as the night before that,so maybe there is a deescalation.

Here we go again. People with zero knowledge of the the issues, or anything else for that matter, not failing to raise racist tropes. Does this ever end or are we condemned forever to suffer from such ignorance? Reasonable people might like to know

I assume you must know it all seeing as you're so quick to play the racist card and say I have "zero knowledge " on the matter. The news reports are wrong are they? Come on,you can do better than your usual condescending sanctimonious ,accusational bull s**t. Can't you?

Rioters fighting Police in Brussels, over 60 arrested.
The violent looting that's rife in France,it's way past anything to do with the killing of the teenager,is'nt it?
Just opportunist thievery.
Using phoney and deceptive outrage to steal a new pair of trainers eg.

Just a short few weeks ago,a Muslim man went on a rampage in a Annecy park, stabbing children aged between 22 months and 3 years old.
No rioting from Muslims on this occasion.
There appears a reason why a top Police Officer described these current looting rioters as "vermin".

I feel sorry for the French nation, the majority must be sad and angry with this "vermin" wrecking their country.
This scum clearly do not put country first, at least not the one they legally or illegally live in.
Take eg Hindu British.Country first, above religion and they've integrated successfully.
Too many immigrants in France are not integrated and will not be content until their Caliphate rules. A serious and dangerous threat.
