This game has sneaked under the radar a bit due to being called off back in August.
Given both team’s recent form, this has all the hallmarks of an early season 6 pointer. A game we can not really afford to lose.
I have confidence of coming back with the three points in front of the usual third full stadium.

We have played MK Dons in 16 games, W4, D3, L9, biggest win was 2-0, loss was 3-0 with a 3-3 draw, we have lost our last 3 meetings with them without scoring.
MK Dons were founded in 2004, play their home games at stadium MK which has a capacity of 30,500 and play in all white colours.
Manager Liam Manning is 37 and played virtually all his career in non-league. Liam has managed West Ham U23 and Belgian side Lommel S.K.
Due to their shared ancestry in Wimbledon F.C., there is an unavoidably acrimonious rivalry with AFC Wimbledon since the relocation of Wimbledon F.C. to Milton Keynes.
Other rivals are Peterborough United and Northampton Town who are geographically the closest urban area to Milton Keynes, 20 miles.
Wycombe Wanderers are the only other professional team in Buckinghamshire, therefore games between the two teams are labelled "the Bucks derby."
Most famous previous player is Dele Alli, On 2 February 2015, Milton Keynes Dons academy graduate and first team midfielder Dele Alli was sold to Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur for a fee in the region of £5 million. Alli became the first Milton Keynes Dons academy graduate to make a full England senior team debut, on 9 October 2015.
Will be tough tonight, but they are in the relegation zone and we need a continuation of the Cambridge game last saturday.

Absolutely, the first half was not a lot to write home about- That said we look comfortable and when JB brings on Jasper & Anderson that we gives us the edge with pace and creativity. if that doesn’t work he’s still got Trevor Clarke who will be ‘chomping at the bit’ for enough game time to follow up his excellent goal against the Nigel u21’s. Come on Gas step it up and beat the franchise Plodder’s! |
