The talking point from that is how awlful mk were, first time I've felt embarrassed for the opposition. I'm not sure I learnt anything about rovers, but it's 3 Pts a game plan that worked and confidence going in the right direction. Well, you may be right but I’d say that following the Cambridge win it might have showed the players are more comfortable with a back 4, although I think JB seems he wants to play a back 3. (Though many more wins with a back 4 and he might change) I think we also saw that this team are, when all the squad are there, able to get results in this league and have bags of character to have come back this month after a tough run. We did it in League 2 and it’s good to see us do it in League 1. Let’s hope it continues. Getting those defenders back seems to make a big difference. Hope that pen will kick start Evans’ season. So yes, I think we did learn something tonight and as you said it’s an important 3 points. Good to have a gap developing between us and the bottom 3 at least. Well done the team and JB and everyone who made the trip. Safe journey home to everyone. UTG! Joe said the other day Wareham,he wants a squad that can play a 3 4 3 or a 4 4 2. Depending on the opposition.

The slightly diagonal low cross Aaron does ,really is a great weapon in our armoury.
Recently we've seen John Marquis and Josh Coburn get on the end of said crosses to score and Lofty came within a hairs breadth of doing the same last night.
Obviously the striker in the middle is ready for Arrons cross, all deliberate.
We'll probably see more goals from this 'simple' but very efficient tactic.

Excellent result - we never get any joy there. Who cares about the performance. 3 more points in the next game or two and we will have had a good October. Agreed. I hoped for a point tonight and we got three. Brilliant. So, Cheltenham next. Will be a battle. A 'Nham' mate of mine told me they were outclassed at Sheffield Wednesday but the few games before that they had played some excellent football. So agreed Oldie,Saturday will be "a battle". Tickets sold out when I asked the other week,so said mate has got me one for the paddock, the small terrace infront of their old stand, dugout side.

In the games ahead against the top teams I hope he plays with a back 4 but JB may decide that it’s those very matches when he hopes to play a back 3. Time will tell. 👍 UTG!

Yep,generally it looks like that, but apart from two bad mistakes, our 3 4 3 at Exeter looked sound. So there's hope on the 3 4 3 front In the scenario we can comfortably swap formations (now more likely with returning players),then great!

Have to say JAB played a blinder in managing out this one....his rotation was experimental with players coming back from injury and damage limitation with nullifying MkD....then bringing on the big guns to get result and see out the match. The right subs at the right time...
Coutts my m o m.
Nice contribution from Rossiter.
MkD were like where were in 2020....as their commentators said, they don't have bad players, just can't play as a team together and long may that continue because they blinking well shouldn't have a team, the stealing thieves.

Blue Tornados and Darlo Dave knew it was a joke. (I edited my original post at 5am today).
This forum is mad. No joking allowed.
As for lottery numbers, 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 have as much chance as any presumably? (I don't gamble, so not sure)

The low numbers are much rarer to come up, no reason for it but the winners have , mostly, come from middle to high range.

The two emoticons SURELY explains that I had obviously seen your un-edited post. My lovely dad used to say, I was too clever for my own good (in a nice way). Nonetheless, #UpTheROVERS - onwards and most definately, UPWARDS!

It's the posters who seem to have lost their sense of humour, although that seems to be almost a UK wide thing at the moment. Keep 'em coming buddy, some of us prefer the light relief! [As the Bishop said to the actress!]

This suggests he is learning, as in the first season his substitutions more often had the effect of weakening the team. MK Dons sound like they nullified themselves. A play-off team only last season. Perhaps they were over-reliant on loan players and the now departed Scott Twine? Forum posters will recall that a similar malaise afflicted our club after the 1999 'nearly' season, as the club spiralled into D2 the following season. You are correct, but I would be very surprised if forum members remember Wimbledon with any great affection. A team of outright thugs, as epitomised by John Fashanu's assault on Gary Mabbutt that almost took his eye out and left him with a fractured skull. Not nice to lose any team, but if we have to lose one, then Wimbledon would have been pretty near the top of my list of teams to go.
