Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman is out to heap more misery on his pal Joey ... (one for very old people, and Frank Sinatra fans) as the Reds make the trip to Bristol Rovers on Saturday. Coleman reckons the Rovers have: "assembled a decent squad and when they get their players out they are a handful for any team in this league. They have good attacking players who are capable of scoring goals." Remember that Milk ad from way back: The advert features two young Liverpool F.C. fans. One tells the other that star Liverpool player Ian Rush had told him that if he didn't drink milk, he would only be good enough to play for Accrington Stanley. The other fan asks, “Accrington Stanley, who are they?”, to which the first replies, “Exactly”. So it's 21st v 17th. The makings of a classic #UpTheROVERS

We could be looking at another 'pools win' for the fans, with more 'goals goals goals! Rovers will have a couple more to select from, hopefully that'll help. In the scenario we create chances as we did against the Imps but this time remember part of a football match is not to concede, then we've got to be in the running. Hav'nt we? Actually I agree,it might be abit of a classic. Looking forward to it. Come on Rovers!

Can't go today, so my step son has my ticket. His record since Joey arrived is 3 games, 7 points. After today, hopefully 4 games, 10 points.
There will be goals a plenty today surely, with two teams who play the game the right way. Although John Coleman is a good bloke, let's hope he leaves with nothing.

More than likely given that there should be heaps of goals with Rovers and Accrington!

Not much in it We've looked abit shakey at the back a couple of times.
We could do with more creativity.
Attacking the Thatchers End in the 2nd half.
Everything to play for.

Couttsy caught in possession, leads to Stanley corner. Taken quickly, we appear asleep.
0 1.

I am genuinely shocked that people expect more, after the manager said it will not improve until we get our players in place. This is not tier 4

You realise we have most of the divi above us who had new players in the summer as well? The work rate was a joke, the signings have been rubbish, LM going for his 3rd consecutive relegation.

Mediocre stuff that.No new ground on the horizon.Depressing stuff when down here Exeter and Muff are doing so well and both have major ground improvements in the pipeline. Nice short trip for me next Sat but not expecting to get anything.

It's part of a master plan wouldn’t have said work rate was missing but there was a total lack of cohesion about this performance. Better team won and you could see it coming from a mile away. We could have been there a week and still not scored. Ref was a fat useless puffer but ultimately didn’t cost us the game. Still it’s all coming good in October - along with fields of Brexit unicorns and our economy magically growing through giving the richest in the UK massive tax cuts. Happy days……

Happy days…… 😂😂😂😂 It's been a while my friend. I walked by a homeless guy the other day and gave him nothing. Later, on reflection, I sought out the most expensive home in the area and pushed a tenner through the letterbox. I know that this will "trickle down" to the homeless guy, I just do. 🤭🤭🤭
