I do agree that the Russians will be stirring things online part of their destabilising project, they probably paid or encouraged the lefties in France to sabotage the rail network and no doubt are involved with Just stop oil, anything that causes chaos or disorder and they will be all over it.

Some of the comments on here are sailing as close to the wind as possible whilst just (maybe) avoiding overt racism.
Trouble at a mosque? Blame Muslims. Native Britons blameless. Children senselessly murdered? Blame immigrants - certain types. Riots against the police? If they are native Britons, they were provoked. If they are of a different ethnicity, deport them. Trouble at a seaside resort - never seen that before have we? Blame Africans.

It will matter f all to the parents of the children what 'religion' the killer is, why can't we have a national day of mourning or something peaceful out of respect. The families are the people that matter here right now, not politics, and nothing will be solved by more tension and point scoring. Spare a thought also for the police and emergency services, who not only had to deal with probably the worst incident they've ever witnessed the previous day, to then have to deal with that the following. The country might well be f***ed, but we can still act decently to each other

Southport residents repair wrecked streets and say killed girls 'didn't deserve' riot..by Owen Amosichef.bbci.co.uk/ace/standard/1024/cpsprodpb/893b/live/8e215940-4f21-11ef-b2d2-cdb23d5d7c5b.jpgDozens of volunteers have repaired the damage caused by the riot in Southport on Tuesday night People in the town say the girls killed in Southport on Monday "didn't deserve" the violence that took place last night At least 39 police officers were hurt, with 27 taken to hospital, and a police vehicle was set on fire Locals said rioters attacked a mosque and smashed walls to use bricks as missiles One shopkeeper says he lost £10,000 of stock when rioters looted his shopichef.bbci.co.uk/news/800/cpsprodpb/vivo/live/images/2024/7/31/d02143ac-132e-494a-b980-b7ac1f97d3ba.jpgShopkeeper Chanaka Balasuryla's store was looted during last night's riots. He says he called 999 after spotting men trying to smash their way inside via CCTV footage from his nearby home. He was "terrified" when he thought they would set fire to the minimart, as a mother lives above the premises with her daughter. Balasuryla says he later found out the mother confronted the raiders, telling them it was her shop in an attempt to stop them. When he turned up this morning, Balasuryla says it was "horrendous" and "everything was on the floor". He says the looters were eating inside the shop as there were crisps and sweets everywhere. He believes they stole more than £10,000 of stock, mainly cigarettes and alcohol, just after he'd "stocked up". Balasuryla says he doesn't have insurance to cover the damage - but says the Southport community has rallied around. "I got a couple of hours' sleep and then got a phone call saying: 'You need to come down - there's lots of people waiting to help."

It that's true then that is utterly disgusting from them last night. I'm ok with rioting for the girls and against the establishment, but no need to loot from locals shops.

The local community have also been out mending walls and repairing damage at the mosque that was attacked. That is community in action. Much better than outside thuggery and vandalism.

Riots usually lead to looting, theres always some opportunist in any crowd, I dont condone riots or looting but sadly they seem to be a fact of life now. Remember the riots in 2011 ? loads of looters taking advantage of the chaos.

Say what or shut up.Please. Edit. The only questionable bit imo is " ungifted".I imagine there maybe a few with a talent for something.
