"Riot police deployed as large crowds throw bricks outside mosque A large crowd has gathered outside a mosque in Southport as tensions run high in the town following the knife attack. Police riot vans and officers are standing guard outside the building. People can be heard shouting: "No surrender" and "English till I die". Earlier today, Home Secretary Yvette Cooper said social media companies "need to take some responsibility" for speculation. This is a reaction to the children being stabbed not internet posts.
The Police have yet again been put in an bad situation and are getting pulverized.
I am not surprised at the violence,people have just had enough,tbh if it was anywhere else in Europe it would have kicked off long ago,the British are very restrained.
If that mosque gets burned out I can see muslims in other towns rioting, lets hope the rain gods come to the rescue,a good storm will calm things down for a while.
