A 15-year-old boy was killed in Woolwich, southeast London just after 5pm in front of horrified onlookers in broad daylight. According to witnesses, he tried to use an umbrella to fight off his attackers but died at the scene, the Evening Standard reports. The 15-year-old was killed in front of horrified onlookers in the daylight attack yesterday. Pictures from the scene showed a large police cordon with multiple police and ambulance vehicles and it is understood the air ambulance was also called to the scene. Images from the scene also appeared to show members of the public holding up sheets to cover the victim from view as paramedics desperately tried to save his life but, despite their best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/07/05/20/45069743-9758153-Emergency_services_raced_to_the_scene_after_a_teenage_boy_was_st-m-43_1625512822780.jpg WOOLWICH: Emergency services set up a cordon at the scene after a teenage boy was stabbed to death in a horrific broad daylight attack in south east London yesterday afternoonA 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of the Woolwich murder after presenting at a south London hospital with a non life-threatening stab wound. A Scotland Yard spokesman said: 'Detectives have launched a murder investigation following a stabbing on Woolwich New Road, SE18. 'Police were called at 5.23pm on Monday to reports of a stabbing. Officers attended and found a 15-year-old boy suffering from a stab injury. They immediately provided first aid prior to the arrival of the London Ambulance Service. 'Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene at 6.08pm. His next of kin has been informed. Formal identification has not taken place. 'A post-mortem examination will be held in due course. 'Police were subsequently called to a south London hospital after a 15-year-old boy self-presented with a stab wound; his injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
'He has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Homicide detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation.' I notice that BBC online news has a 'London violence' section !...stabbings every day, theres about 40 pages of mayhem.

Antony Snook, 44, of Hartcliffe, Bristol, appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court earlier. He is accused of two counts of murder after 15-year-old Mason Rist and 16-year-old Max Dixon were killed in Knowle West, Bristol, on Saturday. Mr Snook spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth. He is due to appear at Bristol Crown Court on Friday. The two teenagers died in hospital after being attacked at around 23:20 GMT in Ilminster Avenue. Handcuffed to a detention officer, Mr Snook was brought into the dock wearing a grey jumper and tracksuit bottoms. On Wednesday, detectives from the Avon and Somerset Police's major crime investigation team said the charges, authorised by the Crown Prosecution Service, were a "pivotal moment" in the inquiry. The force also said more than 100 officers and staff are working on the case which is "continuing at pace". A total of eight people, including Mr Snook, have been arrested as part of the investigation. Five others are still in police custody, with two released on bail. "I tried but unfortunately I've lost my boy and I'm never going to see that kid again. "I don't want anybody else to go through what I'm going through and what Mason's mum is going through."

Not a stabbing but I was listening earlier to the radio and they were talking about Abdul the acid thrower, apparently he cant be deported because his life would be threatened in Afghanistan as he has converted to christianity (after his conviction for a sexual offence).
The vicar on the radio was very happy to say that 40 asylum seekers on the barge in Portland harbour have recently converted to christianity (quadrupling his congregation no doubt) I was wondering if the vicar/church could be sued if any of these people get asylum and then commit horrific crimes ?
I wonder if the vicar who helped with Abduls conversion has been to visit the lady who has suffered life changing injuries ? or her children aged 8 and 3 who this wonderful christian person deliberately threw corrosive liquid over..... ****'s (Abdul and vicar).

Are you seriously thinking that a stab vest offers total protection? What gives you the right to demand someone else (a Police Officer) risks their lives just to support your views? Maybe its a massive stab vest that protects your jugular vein, femoral artery and wrists ? more a suit of armour than a vest really. Any blade of 3 inches or longer can kill, any person of any age carrying such a weapon is a danger to life and should be dealt with accordingly. Bringing this up because I saw a video the other night and apparently the Met Police are having to be re-trained in situations where someone has a knife because the offenders are now tyring to stab into the armpit because the vest leaves them vulnerable, I dont envy the Police especially in big cities...dealing with dangerous and armed scumbags every day.

Adding to Trymer's post above: Bristol stabbing: Teenager dies after Rawnsley Park attack..By Jasmine Ketibuah-Foley, BBC News, West of England.i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/02/15/11/81303427-13087061-image-a-37_1707997635481.jpgA murder investigation has been launched after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death. The teenager was attacked by two people wearing masks in Rawnsley Park in Bristol on Wednesday. The victim ran to Stapleton Road, where a motorist assisted him, before he collapsed in West Street, Old Market, and died at the scene. Police have declared a critical incident after being called to West Street at 18:00 GMT. While formal identification of the victim has not yet taken place, Avon and Somerset Police (ASP) said his family had been informed. Shop workers Essie Zadeh and Anne Pashaliska said they saw a van pull up to help the teenager, who was lying on the floor. Ms Pashaliska said: "The boy was moving hectically, he was covered in blood so I called 999. "They asked me to take a piece of cloth and try and stop the bleeding." "It is shocking, he was a really young boy. Really sad," she said. i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/02/15/11/81303425-13087061-image-a-35_1707997453567.jpgIn a statement, ASP said the attack was a "stark reminder" of the "horrific impact" knife crime had on communities. Supt Mark Runacres said: "Tragically, we have lost another young life from our city in utterly horrific circumstances. "Our thoughts are with the victim's family at what will be an unimaginably difficult time and officers will continue to support them." He said the force was "keeping an open mind" but there was "no clear evidence to suggest this is linked to other recent incidents in the city". Bristol Mayor Marvin Rees said the death was "tragic news". "I can't begin to imagine what the victims' family are experiencing, my thoughts are with them," he wrote on social media. "This needs to stop. We will make every effort to support the family, the police and local community at this time." A police cordon which was in place on West Street has been taken down. A cordon remains in Rawnsley Park. ASP said there would be increased patrols in the area as officers made enquiries. A post-mortem examination will take place in due course, police said.

Valdo Calocane has pleaded guilty to stabbing 3 people to death in Nottingham...only getting done for manslaghter because....of his serious mental health issues FFS. He also badly injured another person by driving a van (that he stole from one of his victims)into them.....he went on a real rampage,be interesting to see his sentence. At last some common sense, this case is going back to court as the sentencing was too lenient, lets hope for a better judge who gets it right this time,30 years for each murder to be served consecutively and the first half of the sentence to be served in solitary....and retire the fist judge.

Police have found a putrified mass in the Thames, they think that it might be the remains of Abdul, they are going to perform tests (what a job) to make a positive indentification, fingers crossed.

The mother of Nottingham stabbing victim Barnaby Webber has told how she broke down in tears when she was told that triple killer Valdo Calocane's sentence to an indefinite hospital order will be referred to the Court of Appeal. Calocane, 32, was sentenced to the order after pleading guilty to manslaughter last month for killing students Grace O'Malley Kumar and Barnaby Webber and school caretaker Ian Coates on a rampage across Nottingham in June 2023. The plea deal - struck in place of a trial on charges of murder - outraged the families of his victims, who claimed they had been 'railroaded' into accepting it. But today's announcement means the sentencing will now be reviewed for being 'unduly lenient', something which has been greeted with enthusiasm from Calocane's victims' families. Barnaby's mother Emma Webber told Sky News she was 'glad' the decision had been made, having been left so 'dejected' after the sentencing that she did not believe the decision would be referred. i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/02/20/11/81482917-13103991-image-m-69_1708430166681.jpgThe families have welcomed a move by the government's top legal adviser, attorney general Victoria Prentis, to refer the sentence to the Court of Appeal for being too soft after receiving complaints from the public about whether it was a suitable punishment. Ms Prentis announced the decision to refer the case to the Appeal Court after telling the families of Calocane's three victims in an online meeting this morning. Ms Prentis said: 'Valdo Calocane's crimes were horrific and have shocked a nation. 'He brutally killed three innocent people and violently attacked three other victims. Their experiences will stay in our minds for a long time to come. 'This was a case that evoked strong feelings amongst so many people and it was no surprise that I received so many referrals under the unduly lenient sentence scheme to consider the hospital order handed to Calocane. 'My duty as a law officer in considering whether sentences may be unduly lenient is to act independently of government, even when it is not easy or popular. 'Having received detailed legal advice and considered the issues raised very carefully, I have concluded that the sentence imposed against Calocane, for the offences of manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility and attempted murder, was unduly lenient and will be referred to the Court of Appeal. 'My thoughts remain with all of Calocane's victims, as well as their families and friends, who have shown such immeasurable strength during this devastating time.' i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/02/20/11/81482913-13103991-image-a-58_1708429904790.jpgIf anyone wants his image removed then i will delete it...
