I think at that point you refuse to pay the analyst's invoice as they are clearly and demonstrably incompetent. Explaining to Higgs that he's clueless and the best thing would be to try to sell the FC may be better advice than simply decommissioning, for a variety of reasons. Remember, he get's approached all the time by people wanting to invest and / or take over. The BoD would set the scope of the review and I would hope that it wouldn't be "how can the directors earn a return on their investment?" but rather it would set out short, medium and long term plan for arresting this seemingly terminal decline and fulfilling our potential. So the BoD set the scope but you want them to set a scope that complies with the scope you require to achieve your outcomes, not necessarily those that are best for their (the owners) requirements. Now let me see how that works. You want to build an extension but your neighbour doesn't want you to so he gets the council to review the project as an independent body and they say you have to demolish your house. Good outcome for him but not for you as the owner.

The BoD have done what was requested and taken the advice of the independent review that a minority of fans have demanded. A majority of fans may have wanted it but there is no evidence they have demanded it. Oh you don't agree with the outcome. That is your prerogative but they have done what you wanted. Demand a review with another outcome. Not so. Higgs came out with the promise of a top to bottom review straight after Mansfield. Nobody had time to demand anything, he made the promise, then they reviewed themselves. Outcome, Barry is having a chat about new T-shirt designs and they want someone to deal with IT on the cheap. I'm expecting to wake up any minute to find out that Marcus Stewart's effort dipped under the bar, JR wasn't shot and the Man From Atlantis has been living in my shower for the last 20 years, it really is that surreal. Do you know there wasn't a top to bottom review. He promised it and it may have happened. People on here are still demanding it be done.

Why are you so defensive of Kevin Spencer and why is this so important? He is one person. Why was he banned and nobody else? If he did absolutely nothing wrong then why has he been banned? A simple question Mr Spencer-There is no smoke without fire- What did you do to get banned? . It seems that Football is no longer the important part of this forum but instead the politics of the club. It seems results are not important unless they give something to criticise the Board. I fail to see why Geoff couldn't come up with his own questions or is the truth he has no real interest other than to get brownie points. The only points I am interested in are the 3 points for a win and one for a draw and the performance of the team. Perhaps a few more should take more notice of this and less of the politics and maybe ,just maybe this club can go forward again. Everyone's interested in performances on the field, which, in case you haven't noticed, have been pathetic for 4 years. Why is that? Because the players failed? Why? Because they are picked by a manager, and the managers failed. Now who picks the managers? What you seemingly fail to understand is that the board doing their job well makes the club better, which makes the team better.

Well, NH has actually said that it is ongoing but in this interview contradicts himself and says it was done in may.

Steve - in short, because 3 points does not mask the continual underachievement of this football club. More gate revenue and a customer reach than all of the conference and the majority of L2, but some how the Board's mis-management has led to a dreadful decline of the football club. There are many people on here who recognise the importance of a well managed sustainable football club with a long term vision. So much so that as well as turning out and cheering the team on to get 3 points every week, they offered their services and personal time through the years over and above just turning up on a Saturday. The closer they got the to the football club the more they were burnt and unappreciated, leading some to give up and watch the club decline in front of their very eyes. That's not politics. It's caring for the future of the club and actually attempting to do something about it, rather than just be happy with a rare 3 points, which sadly people like yourself feel is all that matters.

It was absolutely hilarious. Apparently one of things they realised as a result of the review he said thy did undertake was that the club had been managed by committee, and now individual directors are going to take on some specific responsibilities. I will ask the obvious, what were they doing before? And it took a chairman 5 years to understand his BoD was dysfunctional? Please

Please And don't forget on his filmed interview just a few days the result of the review was that we didn't score enough goals last season. Realising how pathetic that sounded he obviously had a rethink on what answer he could give next. The problem is that the latest one was equally as an inept.

Nothing has changed Higgs comes on the radio all bullish and he ends up a stumbling and mumbling clusterf*u ck.
The bloke is a complete and utter embarrassment to Rovers and the City of Bristol.

As usual no answers to my questions but out come Kevin Spencers lapdogs. For those who say the 3 points are not important - they are the most important part of the football club because I can assure you that if we pick up enough of those 3 points over the season to get promoted then nobody will worry about the Board or if Kevin Spencer can watch the gas. Failure on the pitch results in criticism of the Board-Success on the pitch results in the Board being totally in the background.

We would never be in this mess if we concentrated more on understanding core problems that face the club, things like, how many people visit each pasty hut and what is the yield per visit? Dat would be an ecumenucalculating matter Cuppa tea Swiss ? Ah go on, go on , go on. Father Jack, it's an ecumenical matter- DRINK- GIRLS

One person said that one win doesn't mask the club's failings. No one said that results don't matter per se. You call half this forum Kevin's lapdogs then blindly back Higgs and Dunford. What does that make you?

KS was banned for continually criticising the club via this forum's predecessor and as an ex Director of BRFC that was considered inappropriate behaviour. Given shortly after the ban KS deleted his forum account, thereby removing his posts, then the forum itself was closed down, I'm guessing NH must have had a point? Although this whole saga has now dragged on far too long and I can't understand why NH can't just resolve the issue.

It could happen to any of us. To quote the manics, if you tolerate this then your children will be next It's not being defensive but is looking to the truth and we are further from it than ever. The banning of him from a wake ffs, the lies not backed up. This HAS to be sorted or the board will continue to behave in the manner they have and treat us with disdain and contempt. I'd hate it to happen to you and would try to help you too. This is not just about Kevin but is about how they can treat a lifelong fan and one who has put in more than we will if we had many lifetimes. It's about justice and FairPlay. I'm afraid we will never move on until this is concluded. Lies won't help that. There are plenty of discussions about the game. You choose to read this. Chose not to if it inflames you so.

I am not a Kevin Spencer lapdog,I used to disagree with many of his posts for a few years. That said his treatment by the club has been disgraceful and I think it is disgusting that anyone would back the board on the treatment Kevin has received and say people will forget it if Rovers become successful. Rovers could win the league, the FA Trophy and defy the odds by getting to the 1st round proper of the FA Cup yet the way the board have treated Kevin wont go away or be forgotten.

Yes Les they where great Questions and very difficult to answer unless pre warned (unlike our premiership chairman who get a pre set list of questions) I wonder what would have happened if Mr Higgs said " NO COMMENT" ?? he would get just as much bashing on here as he is getting for answering them. I wonder what questions GT should have asked instead in interviewing the Rovers Chairman? Who arranges the flowers in box 1? Who puts the bins out? What is the tea of choice amongst the office staff? Expresso, Americano or hot chocolate?
