Sorry but i do not see it as fun as the guy has had nothing but petty digs. My humour is fine but i do not understand anyone who has to have a pop and especially when they have no second language let alone more and then goes on to judge a language that he has absolutely no idea of the grammar and use of. Translators only write what you say and it’s luck if it comes out right and because Polish grammar does not work anywhere close to English, i have difficulty in translating the Mrs replies, when we go anywhere and especially doctors. I have blocked him but thanks for your concern. I am proud of my roots and, as you rightly say, the first generation of Polish had to work, very hard, to get the impeccable reputation that they had. This is the reason i do get touchy, if he had something of substance to say they I’d happily hear him out. Judging a language you know nothing of is not a great idea and especially coming from such a poster. Yes, i was angry and , I think, rightly so. I have many polish friends and family and been to poland many times, even in the old days when we would collect stuff and take to Poland when they were in need. I don’t sit on my keyboard all day and night like you getting aggressive for nothing UTG my friend. Want a medal ?

Bristol Rovers star should top Millwall’s summer transfer wish-list: Opinion by Billy Mulley
Millwall currently sit eighth in the Championship and possess games in hand on all of the teams who currently occupy a play-off spot.
The Lions will be striving to secure a play-off spot during what remains of this second-tier campaign and certainly have a strong chance of maintaining their push for the top six.
One player that should top their priority list is Bristol Rovers forward Aaron Collins who is deserving of a second-tier opportunity, whilst he is a forward that once again provides something different to the current striking options.
Netting 14 goals and providing 10 assists in 29 League One appearances already this season for the Pirates, the 25-year-old has adapted to the third tier wonderfully.
Not only has he shown an element of devastation in front of goal this season, but he has also proven to be a creator of chances.
A forward who can vary his attacking play by coming in short to link the play, and spinning off to show his pace and stretch defences, he is the kind of forward who could thrive at The Den.
Highly rated and a well-respected figure at the Memorial Ground, chasing Collins would likely be an expensive pursuit, especially with a contract expiring in 2025.
However, when you consider that he is proving to be a level above in the third tier, he still comes with a high ceiling and the seeming suitability to what Millwall require in the attacking position, it may just be worth it.

Sheffield Wednesday should turn to Bristol Rovers amid uncertainty over Lee Gregory & Callum Paterson: Opinion..by Josh Cole ichef.bbci.co.uk/onesport/cps/800/cpsprodpb/53E8/production/_128808412_gettyimages-1466090164.jpgLee Gregory and Callum Paterson are two of the players who could potentially become free-agents ahead of the 2023/24 season. Whereas a report from Football Insider last month revealed that the club are in negotiations with Paterson over a new deal, a breakthrough has yet to be reached. Paterson attracted a great deal of interest from Hearts in January who had three bids rejected by Wednesday. As per The Star, the Owls also turned down an approach from Derby County for Gregory in the previous transfer window. Although it is understood that Wednesday have the option to extend Gregory’s stay for another year, a final decision has yet to be made regarding his future. With there being no guarantee that this pair will stay at Hillsborough, Owls boss Darren Moore should already be looking to draft up a list of replacements. An individual who simply has to be on Wednesday’s radar ahead of the summer window is Bristol Rovers forward Aaron Collins. After helping the Gas achieve promotion to the third-tier last season by scoring 15 goals in League Two, Collins has taken his game to new heights in the current term. Despite featuring in a higher division, the 25-year-old has already matched this aforementioned goal-tally. Collins has also shown a great deal of creativity for Rovers as he has provided 11 assists for his team-mates in 33 appearances. Collins would add some versatility to Wednesday’s squad as he is capable of playing as a striker, a winger and as an attacking midfielder. Currently averaging an impressive WhoScored match rating of 7.25 in League One, Collins is clearly now ready to make the step up to the Championship and could do so by sealing a switch to Wednesday. While the Owls would have to fork out a considerable fee to secure the forward’s services due to the fact that his contract at the Memorial Stadium is set to run until 2025, it is surely worth splashing the cash on an individual who is playing the best football of his career and could make further strides in terms of his development under the guidance of Moore next season. A switch to a team that are set to play Championship football later this year could also boost Collins’ chances of breaking into Wales’ senior side which is something that he has recently admitted is a target.

Balance the books: 2 players Bristol Rovers may cash in on this summer....by Adam Jones
Bristol Rovers look set to spend another season in League One next term and in fairness, that’s probably a good achievement considering they were promoted last year.
During the latter stages of 2022 and the start of this year, it looked as though they had a chance of forcing their way into the promotion mix with Joey Barton’s side sitting just below the play-off zone at that point.
But their loss of form since then has meant that they are unlikely to have anything to play for between now and the end of the season, with only a couple more wins probably needed to secure their status in the division ahead of next season.
Considering they currently have five loanees at their disposal, they will need to make quite a few signings to fill the void that will be created by their departures at the end of the season, with more signings needed on top of that to compensate for others who may leave.
They will need to remain financially responsible though and with this in mind, they may need to sell a couple of players to boost their summer budget and ensure they have enough money to make the additions required.
With this, we have chosen two players that Barton could potentially cash in on when the summer transfer window arrives.
Aaron Collins Signing a new contract last summer, Aaron Collins still has more than two years left on his deal at the Memorial Stadium and that could give them a great opportunity to generate a sizeable fee for him during the next window.
Barton will be reluctant to lose him considering he’s recorded 15 goals and 11 assists in 34 league appearances this season – but his valuation will only decrease as his current deal continues to run down so they may be wise to sell him before the end of the summer window.
That could allow Rovers’ board to invest some of that money into the first-team squad, giving their manager a bigger budget to play with in the summer.
That will allow them to strengthen several areas of their team – and that could pay dividends for them in the long term as they look to solidify their place in their current division and also set their sights higher.
At 25, you feel an interested side will be willing to pay a decent amount for him considering he could improve further yet.
Luca Hoole His deal is due to expire in 2024 and with the player not certain to sign a new deal, it may make sense for Rovers to sell him in the summer to avoid the risk of losing him for nothing.
Making 34 appearances in all competitions this season despite the fact he’s only 20, there will be plenty of teams sniffing around him ahead of the summer and it wouldn’t be a shock if a few offers came in for him.
Appearing for Wales at a youth international level too, many teams will sit up and take notice of that as well as his versatility, with the young defender able to play in central defence and at full-back.

Collins, Connolly, McCormick, Macdonald are the Bristol Rovers players with points to prove before end of season..by Sam Frost.
Nine games remain in the League One campaign for Bristol Rovers and while it may seem there is not a great deal to play for beyond making absolutely sure of their third-tier status for next season, several individuals face an important final few weeks.
After Accrington Stanley's thumping 5-0 defeat at Exeter City on Saturday, Joey Barton's Gas are 10 points clear of the relegation zone with a game in hand and a vastly superior goal difference. So Rovers remain seven points adrift of their manager's 52-point target, but it would take something equally remarkable and disastrous for them to be clawed into the basement battle.
But momentum matters in football, both from an individual perspective as well as the team, and it is important that Rovers and their players do not let the campaign fizzle out to ensure they are starting from a solid foundation when they return for their second season back in the third tier.
With that in mind, here are some of the players who need to make the most of the remaining games...
Aaron Collins Rovers' star man has enjoyed a brilliant season in League One, backing up his heroic efforts in the run-in a year ago as the Gas clinched promotion from League Two, but things have soured a little bit in recent weeks with some fierce criticism from his manager before being overlooked for Wales' Euro 2024 qualifiers taking place in this international break.
With 15 goals and 12 assists, he remains among the elite players in the division, but the goal contributions have dried up; he has scored three times in 13 games since the turn of the year, with two assists in that time. To be clear, that is far from a terrible return, but he himself would admit that his influence on games has dipped. Perhaps that has been influenced by teams becoming more aware of his skillset and doubling up accordingly, but it is a challenge he will need to overcome in time.
When assessing the Wales squad and some of the options picked ahead of by manager Rob Page, Collins can feel justifiably frustrated. Of course, he is playing at third-tier level, but Page has called on League One and League Two players in this squad and previous camps, and no one with Welsh connections in the EFL can compare to Collins' 26 goal involvements.
Anyway, that's in the past now and Collins can only look forward. Refreshed after the best part of three weeks without a game, he will hope to return win renewed vigour when he wears the blue and white quarters again for the visit of Charlton Athletic on Good Friday.
A late burst of goals will not only apply the fitting exclamation mark that his campaign deserves, but it could also open up a whole host of possibilities in the summer, both for his domestic and international future.
James Connolly It is so easy to forget that Connolly is just 21 years old, such is the maturity he has played with and the seniority that has been placed on him at times. His arrival as an unknown loanee from Cardiff City 14 months ago was among the best signings of the Barton era so far, as he paired brilliantly with Connor Taylor to give the Gas the solid defence they needed to climb the table in the closing weeks of the campaign.
This year, the Wales under-21 has not enjoyed the same stability around him since signing a permanent deal in the summer. The cast around him has rotated and in the midst of the upheaval – caused by injuries and departures – his own form and confidence have dipped. He also had his own spell out with injury, missing 10 games in the autumn with a back injury.
There are many parallels between his situation and Luca Hoole's earlier this season. Both young defenders have encountered a spot of second-season syndrome at times and in Hoole's case, Barton managed it well. He took him out of the firing line and built him back up slowly. Now, he is among Rovers' most in-form players.
The manager is undergoing the same process with centre-back Connolly, who has scored once in 23 appearances. He has started just one of the past five games as Barton looks to refresh the player's mind and body, but he will be needed back in the starting XI when Rovers return from the international break.
Jarell Quansah's three-match ban after being sent off against Portsmouth last time out leaves a vacancy in the back four that Connolly is likely to fill, and he has a chance to find some momentum and confidence heading into the summer and ahead of next season.
Luke McCormick Barton coveted the return of McCormick a year after the end of a fine loan spell and the Gas – and the player – were thrilled when drawn-out negotiations with AFC Wimbledon ended with a positive conclusion in August, but it has been a difficult year for the 24-year-old midfielder.
After two fruitful seasons with a collective 24 goal contributions, McCormick has struggled for a place in the starting XI with just a single assist to his name in 20 League One appearances this term, and he had to face the embarrassment of being substituted less than 10 minutes after coming on in his last outing at Forest Green Rovers. With the Gas protecting a 3-1 lead, Barton was furious that McCormick had picked up a cheap booking for an off-the-ball incident before giving away a soft penalty.
James Belshaw's save to deny Corey O'Keeffe from 12 yards prevented an uncomfortable conclusion at The New Lawn and meant McCormick's mistakes were not costly, but he has not featured in the two games since and he has some work to do to force his way back into contention.
With two years remaining on his contract and a strong track record behind him, Barton remains confident McCormick will come good, although recent events have undoubtedly started to chip away at that belief. It must be said, McCormick has been hampered by the lack of a pre-season after he was exiled by his former club when he made clear his desire to leave, so a fresh start and a full summer with Rovers will do him good.
But to ensure he remains part of the long-term plan at the Mem, he could do with finding a bit of form between now and the end of the campaign. By all accounts, he acquitted himself well in the behind-closed-doors friendly against Aston Villa on Friday; he will hope that is something to build on.
Calum Macdonald After joining at the eleventh hour in the January transfer window, left-back Macdonald has made just a couple of appearances in the blue and white quarters, and although he has been at the club for just a few weeks, the end of his contract looms.
The former Stockport and Tranmere Rovers defender signed a short-term deal until the end of the campaign and his future looks uncertain, with the 25-year-old yet to find a regular place in Barton's XI.
If Macdonald is to earn a new contract at the Mem, he is going to need to finish the season strongly and show what he can offer in the long run. Two appearances totalling 106 minutes have given him little chance to do that.

That’s just 3 players, we will be needing a lot more as the loans go back and we have another reset, time to play as a team and get results. I really am deeply uncomfortable with this way of doing things and i don’t care that others do it, it only gives a false representation of the club. There will come a time when we really will need to build a team , from our own and local players. Surely Wael cannot be expected to keep paying out, each season, for another new team ?

It's his all-around contribution to the team that probably ticked the judges' box for this award. Congratulations

Well done Aaron. Congratulations also to his team mates and the coaching staff who would have been important in his achieving the award. And well done to whoever gave him the contract extension last summer. It’s not usually something we do!! 😉

It's his all-around contribution to the team that probably ticked the judges' box for this award. Congratulations Yes agree. Assists stats are almost as impressive as his goals scored ones. Think his performances have tailed off a bit recently though perhaps because the team is set up a bit differently, perhaps because other teams have worked out better plans to deal with him. Think he will be gone in the summer - hopefully this adds a bit to his transfer fee. Has had s great season though

Peterborough United's Jonson Clarke-Harris beaten to League Two Player of the Season award..By Ben JonesClarke-Harris won the award the last time he and Posh played in League One two seasons ago but did not go back-to-back after being beaten by Bristol Rovers striker Aaron Collins. Clarke-Harris is League One’s leading goalscorer on 25 goals, meanwhile Collins has scored 16 times this season and provided 11 assists for Rovers, who sit in 15th place and face Posh on Saturday. The majority of Collins’ good form came in the first half of the season and he has only found the net twice in his last 14 matches. League One Team of the season: Michael Cooper (Plymouth), Bali Mumba (Plymouth), Leif Davis (Ipswich), Mads Andersen (Barnsley), Ricardo Santos (Bolton), Barry Bannan (Sheffield Wednesday), Conor Hourihane (Derby), Aaron Collins (Bristol Rovers), Conor Chaplin (Ipswich), Josh Windass (Sheffield Wednesday), Jonson Clarke-Harris ichef.bbci.co.uk/onesport/cps/800/cpsprodpb/E051/production/_119952475_shutterstock_editorial_12257213ct.jpgJonson Clarke-Harris

Every time Ollie Watkins reaches scoring targets at Villa ,Exeter get a sizeable bonus according to the press which has gone a long way to extending their superb training complex.Perhaps if we sell Collins we could add a clause as we have a history of selling strikers too cheaply.
