No one wants to see them celebrating promotion on our pitch in front of less fans than even Barrow would bring tomorrow do they? 2-0 Rovers, Evans and Connolly 3-0 mate. You forgot Loft's late goal. Now he's started, he's going to super sub us to League 1. 🏴☠️🙂 |

I fancied us at vale. I fancy the draw here. We have nipped a few tight ones at home 1.0 recently, without creating much for large parts of it. My memory of promotion run ins, there a few Games where anxiety can get the better of composure. In fact FGR needing 1 point from 4 are already promoted, it’s a free spin, they don’t need anything today, their goal scoring power could be quite dangerous for us, we might actually be the more nervous of the two.

Team news, grant out the squad, replaced in team by Anderton.
FGR drop striker to pack midfield. First goal key today. It wasn’t last Monday, but packed opponent midfield suggests plenty of pressing.

Other day I had a quick look as t the Barrow FGR highlights.
Think it was 3 goals from dead ball situations and 1 from a break away at decent tempo.
Nick Anderton to score from a header perhaps...

FGR are the most effective side ive seen this season, won't be winning any technicality awards but seriously effective.

FGR are the most effective side ive seen this season, won't be winning any technicality awards but seriously effective. not there so can't comment on specifics, but have noticed a pattern on BBC stats (yes, I know how accurate they can be) that Rovers dominate possession but have fewer shots than the oppo. Then, late in the game, one side scores and more often than not it has been Rovers - not because of the strikeforce, but because their possession and midfield domination tires the oppo and creates bigger gaps late in the game any thoughts on that? |

Rovers have got this. Northampton are not beating both Exeter and away at Barrow. Vale not winning at Exeter even they take three off Newport. Two wins from our two easy fixtures gives us eighty points and automatic.
Great day for rovers, vale losing was a shocker but DELICIOUS.

It’s actually Mansfield 2 points behind us who worry me more. but every year there is a team in great chance of automatic, blow it so fail to go up in play offs. This year that team is Port Vale. |
