You sure Swiss. I've highlighted a few bits. Different words, same meaning? 'Unconditional support'. Thought that was an issue? Still waiting for others to take it apart, and especially Oldie to analyse the Queens English. I expect the usual suspects will view this as absolutely fine, simply as JB's name is not against it. This is the real issue I believe. Maybe we can all agree that Joey can get carried away at times when he opens his mouth. It keeps Frost, Hoskin etc. in jobs. It's football. Some people treat it as a science, which is laughable in itself. For example, he gobbed off prematurely that he was going to get us promotion and we might have to settle for a top half position. Never happened before in football? Lickle Lee and Europe? He is talking up Rovers and through that himself. For the B & T Crew, stop taking it so seriously. Relax for the next month, until our Forum court correspondents spring into life. JB is also very good indeed at keeping eyes on him and not eg on any under performing players. He protects his players that way. In return the players back him.

One thing I like about Joey is that he talks up "the blue half of Bristol". He has some ambition and needs to fulfil it, if his career is going to prosper. The downside is that has narcissistic tendencies, which means that anything that comes out of his mouth has to be treated with caution. If he is found guilty next month, his career at Rovers and in football management is over. So for the B & T Crew out there, March is still your best hope for deliverance from your suffering. Do you think Wael will keep to his word ? I very much doubt Barton will be found guilty in anycase

The court correspondents must be salivating, ever more daily. They'll be looking forward to deliberately writing with no capitals at the beginning of sentences (when they remember), or reregistering on here so they can "like" any post that remotely seems like a dig at the manager. If the manager is found guilty, then some of them will be back at games after pretending he was the reason they missed them. Pah. One of the many lovely things about them is that they don't spend much time criticising other fans Or calling them names

Pah. All I will say to that is I have never stayed away because the football was dreadful. Not all on here can say the same. Yet they stand in judgement and refuse to accept the reason why some will not attend until Barton is gone. Pah.

Personally speaking, I've only stayed away when financial or personal circumstances dictate, plus a little while while Kevin was banned. Those that stay away because of the appointment of the manager are absolutely right to do if that's their choice, but the faux hand wringing isn't necessary. We all make our choices.

Still buoyant from the Manager of BRFC writing to me in person on 2 consecutive days, I have suffered a blip in my positivity. Joey got my first name right, but complacency is not my middle name.
The CEO has committed a typo in 6th paragraph of his programme notes, whilst introducing his new Executive Committee, including a new Finance Chief.
As always, one step forward, one giant step backwards.

There must have been 2 or 3 typos under the WAQ ownership alone. The fans over at Ashton would never have put up with it.

(Outcome of trial) Very to extremely difficult to prosecute if the victim will not give evidence. I am assuming Clint Hill knows something but that is just my own thoughts. I cant really say but i feel he will have a not guilty or even have the case stopped mid trial. I i have my doubts that Wael would sack him anyway as he seems besotted with the guy. Did he do it, i believe he did. Can they prosecute without his Mrs testimony ?, i doubt it

They are too busy moaning that SL is bad for their massive club , talk about small minded. Whatever we say, they can take it all to another level

The ordinary man on the terrace also needs to know the ins and outs of Dave Fear, the man responsible for Quarters and Mem. Where does he live exactly? Does he have a reliable set of padlocks for when the Mem is sold off to repay the debts? The incompetence of Fear - another exclusive.

However, if the CPS still want to pursue, you'd imagine they must have reasonable grounds maybe? As for his guilt or innocence, that's up to the jury to decide, but understand you have an opinion, especially given the history. There can't be many (Bas aside) who find it easy to like the manager but I guess we all have different perspectives about how to demonstrate that, or not. Most of us didn't want him here, but for now, he's here and like many, I enjoy the team spirit that has been instilled in a decent bunch of lads. UTG.

The only reason the Police and the CPS are pursuing this case is because 1) They tick a lot of boxes by securing a DV conviction. They don’t give a flying if the “victim” doesn’t want to pursue the case, they’d rather f@ck up an otherwise strong marriage in order to get one across the line, they just don’t care how much damage they cause. 2) JB is a high profile target and the Police and CPS will be salivating at the prospect of being able to parade his head around on a stick. This won’t be a jury trial, it is so minor it is a summary only hearing, yet they are prepared to throw the kitchen sink at it to secure a conviction. They really are pathetic when you consider how much more serious crime goes uninvestigated and unpunished. The Police and the CPS have been totally politicised and are now forced to dance to the tune played by the Woke agendaists and have long given up any pretence at being independent. Sad, but true.

I'm not too keen on Barton's public image. But you also have to give someone the benefit of doubt if he has both served his time when sentenced and has not been found guilty of any crime for over a decade. I think it's unfair to let your perception of someone dictate that person's real opportunity in life as I just don't know if he is still a bad egg or indeed has actually reformed and is now a role model to the people he manages. If it is a latter then shouldn't we encourage this kind of reformed behaviour?
Indeed, didn't e have a club chaplin who was a bit of a p***k in his earlier years before changing his ways?
Staying away from the mem just because the manager may still be a repulsive character seems strange when there are a number of fellow gasheads who will have far greater and far more recent convicted misdemeanors that dear joeybag.

Sad, but true. 1) I take it you don't like the police 2) I am interested that you think hitting / beating / kicking a woman is a 'minor' offence 3) 'Woke' - an insult thrown around by people [usually 'Trumpian' / Johnson style right wing supporters] against anyone whom they can't articulate an argument because they have a different opinion usually those who actually care about others such as women who get beaten.
