Get real, we never had a realistic chance of catching Barnet, we are not good enough to kill teams off. Nevertheless we have a great chance of a playoff position and most fans would have bit your arm off at ths if offered in August.

Just read your report, again a very good report, agree with most of it, some I may differ slightly but that is what football is all about, opinions, take that away from football and it won't be worth watching,. As for Topper Gas stating your reports are getting to long, I dont agree but of course that's his opinion

I always think of stevek's match reports as being like Catholic weddings. Really important to some people but about an hour and a half too long. You can think what you like, football is all about opinions, so are Stevek's reports, his opinion of the game, but never to far of the mark. if in your opinion they are to long then dont read them, simple

Take issues like this away from football with technology and it would ruinl football, this incident is more of a talking point than the winning goal

Below is an extract from the Daily Mirror where they were outlining how the transfer works
When does it open? The 'emergency loan' window opens next Tuesday September 9.
When does it close? The loan window shuts on Thursday November 27 with clubs then unable to strengthen until the January window.

I find running the clock down infuriating, and I often hope it comes back to bite a team on its arse a la Cardiff at Twerton all those years ago. I understand why teams do it, but I wish they wouldn't, and I like to think fortune favours the brave.
after being 2-0 down after 90minutes then up steps the super-sub Christian McLean 2-2 felt like a massive win in our division 3 championship winning season , unbeaten at home all season losing only 5 away

Having read the article that is obviously the plan that he envisages. Now if he could come up with a master plan to explain how he will get the league clubs to split the limited money they currently receive from tv etc between another 24 clubs it maybe a goer. But a pretty tough sell, look it'll reduce costs for everyone but then you league clubs will get a smaller slice of the small cake. I think hands may be forced as I predict that the Championship will soon break away to form Premier League 2. The rest will be left fighting for very small scraps from TV. Sometime in the future the top clubs in Europe will break away and form a super European league of their own, away from their own domestic competitions

Did not say he was great, just a nasty piece of work, and we are to nice out of trotman, parkes, lockyer and coles which 2 would you pick? Would not have Coles anywhere near the team, but we need someone of his demeanour especially in the middle, we are just to nice Answer to question, as it stands Trotman and Parkes, with them looking over their shoulder at Lockyer

Martin blows hot and a lot of cold, typical for a winger, needs to be more consistent for me
Cunington best leader of the line that we have had for years, holds the ball up, flicks the ball on, eye for goal, sometimes a bit to selfish, the only trouble is the other players do not read his game. Would keep him, if he had any pace he would not be playing at this level.

Re Cunnington also not sure what is missing, pace and power perhaps. Feeling is that is why a fit Brunt in Jan is needed.. Pace is not his strong point, not as powerful as some But leads the line with intelligence, with his flicks the other players just do not read them, yet. The best we have had for a long while With a player as powerful as Harold for instance the ball would bounce/go anywhere without much end product

I don't blame Turley, Rovers probably knew other clubs were interested in him right from the start. Could the Rovers have signed him on pre contract terms subject to his arm passing medical, at least then he could not have signed for anyone else.without their permission Also Rovers were probably aware of the Eastleigh interest this week and either did want him or were still dithering , so I can't blame him for going elsewhere,he has to earn a living.
