I think you will find the fans of most of the clubs he has been at dislike him because he acts like a complete tool. There's an awful lot of evidence to suggest that you may be right there 9b1gas, and not just recently neither. I blame it on the fact that he was on the books of the other mob at a crucial time in his development and career, but that all ended badly didn't it? In his defence I will say that my wife met him on one occasion, and found him to be helpful and charming. Perhaps he was having an ''off'' day, eh? I've only met Danny on a couple of occasions once of which was at his brother Ashley's who incidently is a personal friend of mine wedding reception , I found him to be a nice kiddy , being vocal and competitive is part of his job/ game surely? I didn't go yesterday but I went away to FGR earlier in the season and I was cringing at the abuse he received from our fans behind the goal , how would you feel if you were a Rovers fan and your own fans kept chanting s**thead at you everytime you touched the ball? I think I'd probably act in a similar fashion .

Rather be a total pr*ck for wanting to see a Brit win a tennis grand slam for the first time in three quarters of a century than a sad individual who has got all upset about a comment about the England football team. What an utter w&nker you really are

Sorry but it is in regards to football matches, I personally know of many football fans that have been dealt with harshly by the law, some even being victimised for guilt by association. You must be very unlucky in your choice of acquaintances. ?

I am flying to Dubai and then walk down the street in a drunken street with cans of beer in my hands
I am then going to fly to Thailand and criticise their monarchy
Then onto South America and refuse to take off my shoes when I enter a house .......................
or I could just stay at home invade a pitch / punch a horse and fight with the police and then show indignation that I get punished
As an over 60 supporter I have read with dismay some people on this forum criticising sentences handed out to all those who brought shame to our club and made us the laughing stock in the eyes of our rivals
Everyone knows that you don't invade the pitch if you do you expect consequences and frankly anyone doing so ought to be banned forever
The small minority do not 'care' more than then the 'respectful' majority, they don't have more 'passion' or feeling for the club, they didn't 'hurt' anymore than us that we were relegated It is just that the rest of us respect laws whether private or public. To those who think differently do us all a favour and stop your 'support' we can do without it! No your are not. Most people will agree with you Sorry but I don't agree, I think that the sentences being handing out are far too harsh, paedophiles are treated with less disdain in my opinion.

Wrexham player Carrington sent off for foul (high foot) on Cuddington. Careful...we've not got a good record against ten men... Burnley away 1999-2000 how the f**k we lost that I'll never , 1 of the most one sided matches I've ever witnessed , we had Roberts , cureton, Zamora and Ellington on for the last 20 minutes

It's possible but who are the likely candidates: Tesco and Morrisons are being hit more than Sainsbury by the rise of the German discounters. Aldi and Lidl are on the up but not really a store footprint for them. I presume there are local Asdas. Co-Op are a mess. Waitrose? If he pulled off hats off to him, but I have little confidence in this board. Couldn't see it being Tesco because of the close proximity to Eastville and Golden hill, Morrisons closest store is over 2 miles away and also Asda so possible contenders, could the Germans use this as a flagship store? Maybe moving up in the market?

When did NH say there was important news on the horizon? The last we were told was in the 20man interview when he said it would be several more months before any further announcements would be made. If Sainsbury's were actually on the verge of handing over the plans to another supermarket why did we issue a writ forcing them to issue the delivery times Appeal? I'm guessing the talk about an It expert follows on from NH feeling the contracts are watertight, either he's deluded or just trying to paint a positive spin. Also whilst the club are apparently looking for investment there's been no suggestion recently anybody is actually interested. The store design may suit Morrisons but I'm guessing it's too large for Aldi, but would another supermarket want to use Sainsbury's design anyway? It would be great to be proved wrong but I sense it's just wishful thinking by the OP. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk I have spoken to an acquaintance of mine the Thursday before last who is involved with the club on a daily basis and when I asked him regarding news on the stadium front he told me that Higgs mentioned important news in September but wouldn't tell him anymore than that due to the confidentiality of it. This sort of backed up the murmurings from Higgs' few interviews where he mentions further announcements and confidentiality etc

Higgsy has stated we have important news on the Horizon regarding the stadium but at the moment he states that due to confidentiality etc etc he can't comment any further. My theory( hopeful) is that he is already in talks with another supermarket chain regarding taking over the full plans thus the silence. Think about it for a moment, it seems that all this turmoil with Sainsburys happened way back in February yet he has only recently mentioned about some news in September , he has also stated as recently as last week that the UWE will still proceed much to the bewilderment of us fans especially with the even more recent news regarding the high court writ, I mean it's extremely unlikely that Sainsburys will want to continue in business with us after this writ had been issued so is it possible that our chairmen is in advanced with maybe Morrisons or Aldi? Something doesn't add up regarding all this but I'm hoping that maybe news along these lines will come out soon.
It's not unfeasible for another chain to take up the reigns so soon after , you only have to look at 1982s stadium venture to realise that, they were selling their plot to Tescos initially then at the 11th hour switched to Sainsburys. It's different circumstances I know because no planning had gone in at that stage but surely this wouldn't make a difference. B&Q took over the Filton branch not long before it opened but this was designed and built to house Homebase.
I hope my theory bears fruition.

When the late Denis Dunford resigned as a director of the club I proposed to the board that he should fill the clubs vacant Club President position. Now following the resignation of Geoff Dunford after nearly 30 years service to the club IMO it would be fitting that he followed in his late Fathers footsteps and filled the vacant position. f**k that

This just shows that our current board of directors have no regard for our club whatsoever or else why did it get dismissed? Surely our supporters would agree in principle with everything contained within this document.
