The police may have insisted ... the game on the 1st day of the season was preceeded by some disorder after Grimsby 'lads' made there way down gloster rd away from the ground towards the vic.... by making it all ticket they will have a clearer indication of Rovers tavelling support and potential 'risk' group fans Maybe. I walked past a fat 40/50 something with blood coming from his head on the glos rd. Sadly, as others have said, it will kill the away support. AT takes the spontaneity out of life. Not everyone can plan the perfect weekend weeks in advance. And it's Valentine's day, so some lads will be hoping for some hot action instead of a long trip and smelling of fish. Sure that's the right way round there?

You'd do well to know the full facts before slating our fans off and accusing them of being "idiots and so called 'supporters' " , I was there and witnessed what had happened and things have been blown out of all proportion , for a start there was no glass thrown it was accidentally knocked off the bar , the woman behind the bar had to be the most rudest and obnoxious person you could ever meet who made a mountain out of a molehill with the whole situation , she instigated the police presence with finger pointing with accusations of glass throwing etc , the police rather over zealously manhandled the suspect and he lifted his hands in a hands up sort of move and then accused him of assault which if it wasn't so unfortunate for the individual it would be laughable . It really annoys me when people make accusations about being 'so called fans' without being furnished with the full facts , the person in qusetion is over 50 and has been following Rovers for 40 years yet he's deemed to be a so called supporter . Maybe in future exercise caution before thinking about becoming Judge , jury and executioner mate. Well your story of events obviously conflicts with that related in the newspaper so I bow to your on the spot report. What caused the inclusion of the story about the cartons of milk being thrown or is that just another misrepresentation of what happened ? Ps....really sorry you didn't get to watch the game after travelling all that distance..... Ok fella , can't comment on any milk being thrown but more than likely something the old girl behind bar over exaggerated , she really was an oddball, when we went in one of the chaps I was with ( North enclosure ) was getting the round when he asked for another pint on top of the order and she went off at the deep end totally uncalled for. Other than that incident and not gaining entry we still had a top day out with top lads including our Millwall guest , the rest of the day had a touch of the hangovers about it in regards to all 5 getting lost at various locations across southern England but that's another story for another day as they say ;-)

There are times when I wish I wasn't associated with our club when we have idiots like these as so called 'supporters' ! I'm not sure anyone's to blame. Rovers didn't want to insist on all ticket status because they knew we'd take way over the inital 600 allocation and there would have been a race against time to get the rest sold at the shop/Mem. Woking's away end holds 1600 and we hadn't taken over 1200 anywhere all season. Is there any reason why Woking couldn't have made itnall ticket and given us 1500 tickets to sell from the off? Forest green?

I can't see us taking more than 500/750 as it's an hell of a distance from Bristol, that's assuming it's on the 28th as they are still in the Trophy and also there home ground is usually frozen or waterlogged during Jan/Feb. Macclesfield should be OK as their away end holds 1900 but why don't they plan ahead and allow room for a further 500 somewhere in the ground, just to be on the safe side? And don't forget the 20 blokes who have booked their flights to Newcastle for the weekend of the Grimsby game probably won't make Gateshead now.... ?

If Gateshead lose tomorrow I can see us taking 1000+ on the 28th, and for those of you who think I'm talking sh1t I said we'd take 2000 + to Woking and that was scoffed at and ridiculed

some of you are going to look right tits if only 750 turn up, i can hear em laughing south of the river already. Are you sure you're not the tit for merely suggesting 750 turn up?

I just got this feeling that we could have as many as 2500 , many factors influence this , I just hope no-one gets locked out , or up on the roof it'll be, I think woking are in for a shock

We unofficially took 1200 to Nuneaton regardless of what they officially said (970) on a cold Sunday the day before everyone went back to work after the new year and awkward train travel. Woking is easy to get to , on a Saturday , 2nd in the table, Barnet on Bt sport early doors , 2 high profile signings and endless options regarding train travel , course we will take over 2000 , we take that to places like reading and Brentford on a Tuesday night ffs , watch this space ?

I'm quite confident we will take over 2000 , although it will probably officially show we have less because I think gas will be in all parts of the ground
