What are those muppets on the radio doing by saying after the Taylor goal about "no way back for Morecambe, etc etc. Oh it's 3-2. Maybe we spoke too soon etc etc" Just commentate, don't speculate.

Problem is, at this rate, there are people clinging to the prop shafts of lorries in the Chunnel and areoplane landing gear arriving faster than we are eliminating possibilities. Then add a few extra on for people on this forum with multiple indentities. Come on Jon, give us a clue........ They have an irish american accent Blimey it's the NYPD. That should be handy for the Cat A games!

And I guess it is not going to be any BCFC supporters so you can reduce that by another 2 or 3. So getting the numbers down slowly. Only 64,599,594 to go So, you won't rule yourself out!!!! The net is closing in.......... Ah yes. Slight oversight. 64,599,593 it is then.

It's a completely new one. - It is not McCrory! UTG! Right. Population of UK today 64,600,000. It's not Jed, it isn't me, it's not my neighbour Glen, he hates football and spends all his money on ladies of the night and cider goodness knows what would happen if he had £40m, so that leaves us 64,599,597 guesses. And I guess it is not going to be any BCFC supporters so you can reduce that by another 2 or 3. So getting the numbers down slowly. Only 64,599,594 to go

I reckon that Steve's left BRFC to allow him time head-up a Russian-based conglomerate that intend to buy the club (at any cost) from the dreadful chairman that we presently have, and will be installed as the new chairman in due course. Topical eh, but totally inaccurate.
We don't know for sure it is do we? ?

Did they come up the Gloucester Road or via Muller Road? If they took the bus up through Ashley Down they could be stuck in traffic - there's still roadworks. Consortium Approach Rovers.......CAR.......Eureka, that's it ! We're going to be bought out by Volkswagon....They are a massive company with loads of money. They also have a bright futur...........oh, hang on. Bugger - The Rovers jinx has struck again ! Wolfsburg Rovers.....not too catchy. And if memory serves they play in some lurid green and white kit with a mega badge on the front ? Beasty Boys Mk2?

It's not a case of not liking his rumour, it's something he has just made up to try and score points off JTS. It's sad pathetic attention seeking nonsense. It adds nothing to this forum whatsoever but could be useful to a psychologist. until time passes and we see what does or doesnt develop whos to say jts/ljg is on the money ? And that is just about the truth of it. As I see it in 8 days, 12 pages and however many posts I am not sure this thread has advanced our knowledge of anything. We know there is a rumour and a counter rumour. We know some people believe one more than the other. But what do we actually know? In summary - diddlysquat. The idea that there is a mythical consortium out there who may wish to invest in the club is not really news. NH was publicly courting such things only recently. But to me it is clear that until the court case is finally resolved there is not going to be any announcement from the club. Be that right or wrong in your eyes I believe it is the way it is. That may take some months to resolve depending on when the case comes to court. Is there really any point in picking over what may or may not be happening, falling out with each other (however good the intentions of the poster) and creating more heat than light. United we stand, divided we fall. Old and cheesy maybe but I think very true. Can we not put this to bed and, however frustrating it may be, accept that we will have to keep on waiting for news?

This is it word for word "It is my understanding a new consortium have put in an offer to buy the club and have immediate funds to build UWE to original blueprints". Thank you.

The question that needs to be asked is, why leave a club which is improving and on the up, residing in modern facilities, to join a club struggling to find it's feet in clapped out facilities. I think the answer lies in the probability that he has been tasked with laying the foundations for regime change and subsequently the move to UWE. Just my opinion!! he's a non-Exec, so different from the others. I suspect you might be heading in the right direction - an experienced representative, made more authoritative by his formal role, to help in touting the stadium/finance/image of the club with parties interested in football-type things
as a 'friend for Nick in the boardroom', maybe, but I suspect more like 'someone who knows more about football as a rounded business than the other directors' also
I'm not sure what to make of it, but it means NH isn't sitting still waiting for the outcome of the court appeal
Just on that point I thought some time ago we engaged with some sort of PR firm who were supposed to be promoting our "image". Not sure we ever heard anything positive on that one. Or did we?

Agree with pretty much all that is being said here. Thought Bodin showed some drive and desire in his brief appearance. Got to be worth a start next week surely? Or how else can DC reasonably judge him? My only comfort in all this (and not sure I should take too much of that) is that we were this disorganised this time last year (in much the same way Orient started with a bang last year but are still here in this League)and we got sorted in the end. Guess its not where you start but where you finish. Of course the obvious flaw in that argument is that we are now in a totally different League to that with the standard of clubs we are playing..............any crumbs gratefully accepted.

Thanks for getting personal. But on to the point I am making. Who said he was a criminal? Justice in the sense of a football game is what I meant. Thought that would have been obvious. There is too much secrecy around what happens to referees when they have done things like this. If a player gets sent off or does something else off the pitch that causes issues he likely gets fined and this is usually splashed in various papers etc. So it becomes public knowledge and we can judge whether the player was judged harshly or not. We have no idea what happens in the closed shop that is referees. That's all I am saying! Simples not being silly thanks. If we don't see that refs are made to learn from their mistakes ( maybe they are but we should at least get some idea of this) it just seems like they can carry on being below par. Personal? However the recipient perceives it. But let's move on, more to life than that.

Trouble is that the prize prat of a ref goes on with no apparent admonishment and will likely be just as s***e this weekend. When will justice be done and seen to be done with these people? Don't be so silly. He had a bad game, that's all. He's not a criminal. Thanks for getting personal. But on to the point I am making. Who said he was a criminal? If Easter is 70% fit, then I cannot wait until he has a dozen games under his belt. His second half performance was very good yesterday. Whilst Taylor does go to the ground early, did you see the size of their CB? He was clearly going to win everything in the air and all 50/50 challenges. If Oxford, Luton and LO are 3 of the favourites, then there is really nothing to fear in this league, as long as our strikers start to perform and up their conversion rates. Also, the two worse misses were by a CB who should have planted 2 headers with ease. I think the performance was excellent throughout, but like Bamber I am beginning to wonder if Taylor is up to it. I thought he was great for us last season. He had a simply through ball for Lines and under hit it. I hope I am wrong and he does start scoring just to shut Bamber up and everyone else can let out a giant sigh of relief! PS - I hope this is grammatically correct. Don't worry, I've got a long list of things here that I haven't even started moaning about yet. Dried out pasty £3.20 served from a tatty old wooden hut with the only price list being behind the counter. No wonder we can't score goals.Own goals maybe?
