HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Brilliant lads. I had completely forgotten it was FA Cup Rnd 1 this weekend and put on radio earlier in the car. Almost drove off the road hearing that score line. Every year you bring me some sort of new low to laugh at. Chesham United eh?! Fantastic. Brilliant stuff. Here's to concentrating on the league. Cheers to you all!!! Only said the other day that it had been strangely quiet from the in breds south of the river due to their holding up the rest of the league, and that if they had a couple of good results they would crawl out of the woodwork. True to form......!

Poignant and powerful words. Even more so when you consider they were, I believe, written by a 12 yr old.
No doubt there will be an impeccably observed silence tomorrow pre match.
We will remember them.

People are missing the bigger picture here. At least with this kick off time and it being rememberance Sunday, fans who turn up early will be able to see Carstairs et al, turning up in their masses to pay respects to the fallen at Bristols most famous and precious war memorial. Personally I hope they dont go near the place as they never have done in the past. Still you never know. Suspect he barely knows where it is and would have difficulty with his missing grey cells in finding it on his own

Hes probably just turning over to c5 for all todays goals, or working out how to do a hangmans knot Ha ha not so. I got back from Carlisle about an hour ago and don't need to see those bloody goals again, thanks. Which ones? The first two or the last three?

Could be worse, we could support YTFC. Apologies if I have transgressed copyright infringement.

I don't ''do,'' or understand Twitter if I'm honest, but I would be interested to know what the chattering classes are saying today after last night's contribution to the cause. I know that it's a bit random but I see that ''Ellis' team'' are currently losing 4-0 at home. Life's a bummer, ennit? That's what you get when their manager says that you have travelled a million miles......without realising that it's been in reverse gear!

I like Taylor, does a lot of work, gets in good positions and has scored some great goals. I was thinking last night at some stage a bigger club will come into buy some Rovers players,I think the targets will be. 1.Lockyer 2.Taylor 3.Leadbitter I am hope that I am wrong and that we hang on to them for a long time. I've heard that Lockyer and Leadbitter have been scouted by Championship clubs Well that means the club are getting it right with coaching players to cut it in a higher league. If we are to progress that is a risk we have to live with at this level. We have to grow the club with the players or they will move and the club will not. Maybe a new stadium might help....oh hang on has that been mentioned anywhere previously?

But we aren't even being televised? Why the f*ck should we move? 1 camera at the ground and the BBC bouncing around to 7 other games. So effectively you can't watch the whole game on TV. I had made arrangements to be in Bristol for Saturday, but can't make the game on Sunday. I have to say - what a great response from FC Manchester to the FA. Maybe one day our Club will take into consideration it's own supporters wishes. Pigs flying and all that. In principle I agree with their stance and your sentiments in your post. I don't have Sky for that very reason - I don't like the way they move fixtures to suit themselves. But he who pays the piper....and all that. However, playing devils advocate, could it be argued that they knew the rules prior to starting in the competition - i.e. that fixtures could be changed to suit to schedules - and taking a stand now is fine but had zero chance of success? The FA were never going to back down on that one at this stage or chaos would reign. Wish them well in their progress but think realism had to kick in at some point. Think a better away for them is to gather support outside of this and present a more united ( excuse the pun) stand from many clubs rather than a single one.

But we were non league then ourselves. Does that count.....?? I dont really look on us as having been non league, i look on it more sort of like a gap year, r&r type of thing Blimey, do you mean to say that my ol' ticker used up all them beats for nothing at Wembley? It was just like Bobby Ewing coming out of the shower? It was all a dream? Did it really happen?

Never lost at home to a non league Club in Rovers history ...1920 to 2015
Played 27 Won 23 Drew 4 Lost 0 goals scored 78 and 16 conceded.
Four draws were Llanelly 1950, Kettering 1969, Runcorn 2002 and Carlisle 2004
Long may this record continue
Out of interest you haven't got our FA Trophy record there have you? But we were non league then ourselves. Does that count.....??

Our home form no doubt had some influence on this, I reckon.

Hilarious. Banana skin?! No chance in hell! Oh the panic in some people. Lol If anyone has seen recent fixtures against the likes of Totton, Corby, Dorchester or even Cirencester/Mangos this pre season, the gap in quality & fitness between league 2 and southern divisions is absolutely huge. Sure you have to respect your opponents, be professional and make sure you treat it as any other league game, but we should sail through this one no problems at all. Oh and I fully expect this one to be a tenner & quid a kid! Bring it on. Not sure it is panic. Think it is all ironic, gallows humour tbh. Which given our recent home form is understandable.

Think we can all agree that this was a day to forget. For me the true effect of this will be known next Friday when we can gauge if the team shows the right reaction and the effects of any team changes that DC may make. If we produce a similar performance to that of today I will be very concerned. For now I will put it down to a "blip".

I'm sure there is a simple answer - but a bit confused. Why are they trying to raise only £100k when they are squillions in debt to HMRC? Or have I missed something? They owe HMRC approx £100K, but owe the local council millions. At the moment, only HMRC has served a winding up petition. Cheers. Got it!
