anyone got any pictures of the loo rolls going down over the crowd? Or the beer barrels from the bar at the back hurtling down at the old bill at the front If they think the Mem is a hostile place to visit I dread to think what they would have made of Eastville (or any ground in the 70's).
I had been standing on the Tote for every home game for several years, seen all the big boys come in and play, West Ham, Chelsea etc, thought I was a regular, but it didn't stop a few Rovers boys having a go at me and some friends at a game, "because they didn't recognise us" - very friendly place - and as Ash says absolute Sh*t hole. If we had health inspectors then, they didn't visit the Porto Cabin burger bar or the loo's behind the Tote End that's for sure. Must admit though I loved every minute I spent down there and the text from Browners book at the end of the video is very true.

On the other forum is a guy praising the club on last Saturdays offer, he paid £20 for a family ticket in the South Stand (Tent end). That was admission & seat for him, wife and 2 kids. Bargain !

The best Rovers Tee shirt I have is a John Keys special, "Tote End Veteran" Unfortunately over the years it has shrunk or I have expanded! Not something I would wear on a regular basis but brings back good memories when I see it the wardrobe. Like the ideal of a more discreet looking logo you could wear anywhere, not just to matches, when you get to a certain age a GAS or BRISTOL ROVERS logo across your chest doesnt look quite right when you are out for a quite beer.

This is where some independent organisation could fill the void producing their own merchandise.

If we had someone that cared in midfield instead of a ego, we might have got more points, other people may have scored those goals we will never know. Out of interest how are the others doing, see Mo is doing ok, Gill and Richards are getting games,Woodards has disappeared from the team sheet as has Norwood, lost track of the others.

Is he as good as Good as some believe, didn't make it at Wycombe, played for Salisbury and FGR not really a stellar career so far. Only made 20 odd appearances last season don't know if it was injury or poor form kept him out. Still fair play to him, no contact training yet this season and can play a full game straight away.

Entrance to Eastleigh, Forest Green tonight is FREE to home and away fans !!!!!!!!! They must have loads of money to do that sort of thing, or they are desperate to get some support.

Ok... so a lot of different views on this. .. firstly I was asked by mark a week before the meeting if id attend , I was grateful to be invited and AS A NORMAL FAN was interested to hear a view from Chris Jelf as too what had gone so wrong with our club. As far as im aware it was no secret I didnt mention it on here before hand as I disnt want the risk of Mr Jelf pulling out ( I didnt organise the meet so I didnt know if there wete any conditions to it) it was very very onformal , not much different to any chat id had with 5 other gasheads , the chat involved all sorts and my own interpretation of things said maybe different to others , mark arranged the meeting and is I believe going to write a report on it. But briefly some of the things mentioned ... they were very bullish that we will win our battle with Sainsburys , finances are tight and the budget has been cut by 20-30% ... wardy turned down the chance to buy at least 2 proven strikers. .. promotion this season is very important. .. they accept a lot has gone wrong and that communication and getting the club its staff and fans pulling together is vital and the board must work harder to enable that..the internal review has not been exactly followed up as board members time has been limited especially by the fight to sell the mem, investment is welcome and needed ... they promised to hold more meetings with fans and want to organise something to make use of supporters skills and knowledge. .... Finally Kevin Spencer. .. there view was thatthis is a issue between kevin and Nick and whilst it would be good for all to sort it their was more to it than they can sort out ... thus is what was said not my views .... there is more meat to add to the bones of it all that im sure will be in a report of the meeting ... anyonevwanting more info is welcone to pm me and I'll answer when I can . Finally BRISA didnt arrange this meeting so fair playvto mark for inviting us and its fair to say that right now BRISA is close to folding as no one has been willing to offer the help required despite many requests ... its a shame that from 300 members that no more than a handful have been willing to step forward at all it will beva shane to waste a lot of hard work but what more can we do ... as it stands its 2 blokes with 3 foot soldiers at best... any ideas and help is welcome but unless more people come forward to stand up and put themselves forward to properly help and plan there is no future for BRISA... those moaning that they weren't part of this meeting are welcome to take over my place as a face/organiser of BRISA . I offered to help as the founder had some issues personally that were far more important .. I didnt want to see a good idea go to waste I just jope some others can see this and step up Great 3 points today. .. onwards and upwards! ! Edit Excuse the grammer im fitting this in whilst trying to get my kids off to bed... bad grammer is better than no post at all I think its great that someone like you is prepared to stand up and be counted and show a passion for our football club, I wish I had more time to spare and could help out. It would be a shame if BRISA did fold, we need a independent voice. Perhaps the groaners and moaners who felt left out would like to step forward.

I congratulate who ever met with directors and put forward the views of the ordinary fan, any means to get the message through is helpful.

I agree with lots of the points already made, Wrexham had some nice approach play but no end product, our defence looked solid when being attacked, but poor in possession, Parkes really has to learn how to pass to someone on our side, Lockyear has to get forward and support more and all the back 4 have to stop passing back to Mildenhal he doesn't look comfortable belting the ball down the ground every time. How Sinclair got MOM is beyond me, last 10 minutes he was sat so deep he was between the centre backs at times, leaving acres of space for Wrexham in midfield. Mansell was Ok, over run due to lack of support at times. Martin, Cuddington and Taylor all played well, Martins delivery from corners is excellent. Monkhouse is all left foot and played out of postion on the right he didn't create anything. Why Ellis was sat behind me in the Dribuild and not in the squad is strange and the fact Stewart and Yates stood on the touch line the whole game shouting instructions while DC sat down being quite.

He can also play as a striker, Martin left Ellis right Cunny up top and this bloke running free. Main concern now would be central midfield Clarke has too many poor games.

Some great highlights there of a fantastic player, if only we had one half as good now. I think the David Williams team of that time has to be one of my favourite all time Rovers sides I know they didn't win anything but they played some super football and if we had play off's back then who knows what my have happened.
