No coincidence that Taylors started to score since Blisset and Wall have joined..seems to have better understanding than with Cunnington.

See on the BBC tonight Swindle are up to their old tricks and trying to get out of paying their rent. The council say Swindle owe them £50k in rent and are going to court to get the money, Swindle say the grounds a dump and they have spent more then that on repairs so they shouldn't have to pay rent as well.
I would have thought as long as the ground maintains its safety certificate Swindon have no case, is it more of the old story of crowds down, money is short so lets rip someone off.

Got a few stories about Sarah dalin and her friends from my school days ( same year as them) they were all West Ham fans because they all were infatuated with David Essex there were about a group of six of them all had claret and blue outfits remember a great night in page park staple hill after they beat Fulham in the cup final 1975 few bottles of cider and a couple of us had a good result ( 2nd base I think ) why would you be playing rounders in the night I did a engineering course at South Bristol collage in St Johns Road, Bedminster during the late 70's, fair few Rovers lads went there from all areas in and around Bristol, I was surprised, the ones I thought would be Teds from Avonmouth and Shire were Rovers and the ones from Kingswood were Red. Sarah Dalin's dad, Reg was one of our lecturers, a real character, poor sod took loads of crap about Sarah and what the boys thought of her !! Another lecturer there Eddie someone went to every game at eastville, he used to stand under that little shed bit to the left of the Tote.

Bournemouth and Brentford, two teams that we beat on a regular basis a few years back tonight sit first and third in the Championship. Really shows what Higgs leadership has done for us When have we ever beaten Bournemouth regularly?! Not very often, always a bogey team.

Lets face it as soon as Ollie left he lost interest, which ever club he is at he gives it the BS about being his club, cut him in half and its written through the middle, all this crap, he spends all their money, moves on leaving the clubs in turmoil (never his fault). Has he left a successful team anywhere? We nosedived, Plymouth have never recovered, Blackpool are in free fall, it took Pulis to keep Palace up after Ollie won the play offs with a team Dougie Freeman built, Leicester saw the light and got shot of him early after relegation, also relegated at QPR he did get them back up eventually, but they got rid of him because he was talking to other clubs when under contract, he left Plymouth also when under contract and only told them he was leaving when he had signed for Leicester and when playing for us he took his self off to QPR and signed for them with out telling anyone and for a short while was signed to both clubs !!!!!!!! The only interest Ollie has is self interest.

I actually read that report and took it (proberbly wrongly) to mean they have taken charges of £287m ... due to land brought that is now not as valuable as they wont buid stores on them? "Sainsbury's has reined back plans for new stores and said the change in plans has affected its balance sheet.
The supermarket chain took a charge of £287m because some sites will no longer be developed."
Possibly the mem site incuded? (yes that is indedd the sound of straws being clutched) "The move came as the supermarket conducted a strategic review which saw it write off £287m off the value of its property portfolio, mainly due to land bought which will now no longer be developed. Of this charge, £31m related to contracts it has already entered into which will not be needed".That would be great, Sainsbury's stand by their agreement pay £30m and then don't build, if only! image the rumors we could spread about their plans, I always thought a coal fired power station would fit in nicely.

A reserve game has been arranged at the training ground tomorrow against Exeter. With injuries and suspensions could be a chance for some to stake a claim for Saturday.

Not sure what the external debt is at present but NH, the Director with the biggest debt, maybe happy to walk away if somebody clears a big slice of his debt now, say he takes £2-3m, that still leaves upards of £10m in equity. Hereford are very similar to use in having what appeared a "caring" Chairman in David Keytes in control with had plans for a fantastic new staduim who now appears to have shafted the whole club, I'm not saying NH would do that but it's clearly happened elsewhere so anything is possible. Out of interest, what do you base the equity of (circa) £12m on? It's a 7 acre site, worth a lot less than £12m for development. Then there are the loans of the other directors, and as you point out, there is still some external debt. Unless they can get Sainsbury's to complete, the finances look a bit of a mess to me If the Mem is worth less then £12m where does the £30m figure come from that Sainsburys are supposed to be paying ?

I'm guessing playing international away games is the least of his concerns at present! For a rapist he doesn't seem to have a care in the world. Subhuman man. Don't you find most professional footballers to be arrogant little sh*t's who only care about themselves.

"I was trying to get in a striker before today, but the bid was turned down."
As we are out side of the transfer window the "bid" can only be to sign someone on loan or a unattached player or is it different in the Conference?

Not Rovers related, but thought this deserved to be seen on here, well done to Millwall on producing a camo kit to mark the First World War anniversary and giving all the proceeds to a injured soldier's charity.

These two asset strippers are being linked as new investors again, I hope not, they will make NH look like Robin Hood.
