Five years ago this weekend we were at Morecambe. They have a neat ground on their miniscule crowds. Morecambe sold their old ground to Sainsbury's. Was that Wise?

Tony craig 57 games for promoted millwall,31 at left-back and 25 at centre-back,i would suggest he can play in either position. I would say the manager wanted to strengthen that area even if a forum poster didnt agree after all we have struggled at the back this season. Ive followed the development squad and watched them play 3 times and i think its very exiting although several are now out on loan. Bennett tore up a 3 year deal to come to rovers and i would imagine hes signed a 3 year deal and mensah was playing regularly in a team 2nd in the conference but wants to better himself. Bennett is small but ive seen plenty of good small players in my life. Like many on here your permanently set on your default negative setting sadly. A "cracking interview"? Some people are very easily pleased. Keep taking the happy pills. I'll stick with my default cynicism. It helps me deal with reality. UTG. You do nothing but moan like Michelle Thorne in front of a video camera. Are you really telling me that things are worse than two years ago?

If your “easily pleased” people are happy and you’re happy to be a realist then everyone’s happy. Great! Crikey we don’t often get win-win occasions on here! 😉 UTG!

This was the Central League table (click on image) before today's game away at Cheltenham Town. Chris Hargreaves had six first team players at his disposal, as Sam Slocombe, James Clarke, Ryan Sweeney, Bernard Mensah, Dom Telford and Tom Nichols all started. Rovers won the game with two goals by Dom Telford, so I guess we move into third place, one point behind the joint leaders, with a game in hand on both. Thanks GasMacc1. I think the development squad has been a really important part of the club growing. I think it shows a real intent because we all know, or should do, that you are never going to get quick gains through it. It will be at least 2 years perhaps 18 months before any real gains or successes are apparent if you judge gains by getting into the first team squad. And whatever people think about Wael and the family he has been true to his word. He said he wanted the club to develop its own youth players and build up from there and I think he said it in the first week of his ownership. And his actions have matched his rhetoric in this case. No one expecting to make a quick return on their money would go for what he’s done. That money could have been ploughed into transfers, wages and players. I’m glad he has done it the way he has but I know others will disagree which is fair enough. Great to see imo. UTG!

In your case - keep drinking the cleaning fluid.
