Would someone be so kind as to post a summary of the key points from tonight's meeting for those of us unable to attend (or not invited!)

So plenty of people able to post the key points on here then, as Curly Wurly so politely requested. Jolly good.

Is that a dig at those who loyally support the club? Pure class from someone who'd probably need a Sat nav to find The Mem.

Pure class from someone who'd probably need a Sat nav to find The Mem. everything going along nicely, and then just sometimes there are flashbacks. Shame - especially as the football-related stuff is so good

Ha ha. I guess he just got tired of taunting WCG and getting nothing back. Bless him. WCG flaunted off because he's made too look a fool with his constant (and let's face it probably racially motivated) criticism of the striker who scored arguably the most important goal in our contemporary history who's proven himself to be our best player this season after Billy Bodin. I guess you wouldn't be able to comment though as you've probably seen neither live in the flesh...

What I disagree with is your intimation that only those who are SC members can be classed as "loyally supporting the club".

If you want to point out where I said or indeed implied only SC members loyally support the club, I'll be ready and waiting. I would say that anybody who can be arsed to go out on a pretty uninspiring Thursday evening probably loves the club to the bones and I find it in pretty poor taste them being sneared at, by as it see it someone who's sole contribution to the club is posting links to the Sky Sports clips of our goals on here. I won't go on as King Kev and your army of cheerleaders will no doubt come to your defence, even though you're quite capable of arguing the toss. Hope you're in good health Ann and one day you might be able to bring yourself to return to the mem.

Your "loyally supporting" comment was in direct reply to my post about the number of people who would be attending the SC AGM this evening. As for sneeering - you do it so much better than me

Main points, thanks to "seanclevedongas" on Gaschat:
"They said what you would expect them to say which basically rubbishes the rumors (but nothing new that hasn't been said before)
Family in it for the long run Dwane sports own the club Colony is on track owned by Dwane Colony which is an offshore company which means there are additional tax issues that they have been working through, expect to be all sorted by February SH pushing for 18k minimum stadium but hopefully 20k Expect to be constructed stand by stand so no need to move out during construction"
The last point is new and might help us to avoid an identikit stadium.
Any further points from tonight would be welcome.

The pre planning was submitted months ago and the tax issues were discussed on here when it was stated that they had overlooked the fact that vat was unrecoverable as they are an offshore company.

Hamer confirmed a statute of Geoff Bradford will be made for revamped Mem. In the words of the great philosopher Agnes Brown, that’s nice... I take it no one bothered asking any pertinent questions then, but will carry on bitching and moaning on t’interweb.
