What's the agenda, can you remind me, I haven't a clue, if it sounds interesting we can all help you try to find it maybe? I thought computers were throwaway things, use it for 2 years, it gets clunky, get another. After all these years you still cannot see it front your eyes ? ... don't mistake computers with wives, computers are for life not 2 years Getting rid of wives costs a lot more than £400!

Ten pages. What was the page record again? Start a rumour that Spencer has been banned (again) and Ward is coming back with Clarke demoted to assistant, 10 pages will be up in an hour.

Anyway, back to the important issues of the day, has Harry come up with a decent excuse yet as to why he thinks women supporters should stick to ironing??? I was actually defending my fellow refs any woman or man swearing and abusing a match official is UNACCEPTABLE period. I said we cant always blame a ref when we lose. Cant recall many complaining at the Northampton match !
I suggested he/she take a refs course to appreciate the Laws of the game. Ironing is done by male and females. So what are you getting at. I iron and proud of it. I also shop and do washing.

At the risk of it all kicking off again, how can you proof read anything when you can't construct 2 lines that aren't riddled with mistakes? We should have a little competition to see who can spot the most errors in that one post. At a quick glance, I have 12.

Would you have him back? 😎😎 Only if whoever is presently responsible for cleaning the toilets behand the Centenary stand is unable to continue doing so. You cannot remove someone just to make space to bring back someone else, really.

LOL If only I don't have to look too far for the HA when its clearly in front of me on these pages and the 20 plus i spend on here is market research to find who are desperate for my outstanding computer services, something i'm very modest about What's the agenda, can you remind me, I haven't a clue, if it sounds interesting we can all help you try to find it maybe? I thought computers were throwaway things, use it for 2 years, it gets clunky, get another. That’s done by the bloody manufacturer of the item. Dell, for instance, just one of the many who have a kill switch type thing built into their laptops. It was first discovered in printers and then in many other tech products. It’s so wrong and it was said laws were being introduced to combat this but I don’t hear of them just yet. Build your own, I do. If I can do it and especially with how oafishly clumsy I am, you can do it too. My main problem used to be breaking the clips that hold the processor chip in place. Luckily I was being mentored by someone so was able to practice on old kit. I have an old desktop I built in 2002 & it’s a RAID motherboard. I still occasionally use it as I now use it just to hold all 350 plus gigabit of my music on it & as a server if I ever get any problems with my set up now. I bet Henbury Gas Gas would help you

As if they lived in Britain and everything I also REALLY dislike it how we now Americanise so much. People say I hate when that happens instead of I hate it when that happens, my biggest dislike is the use of my bad. I know I have OCD amongst other things but we truly are dumbing down badly. It wasn’t that long ago that the Yanks woukd look to us for so much but it seems to be the other way around now

Are you up to it ...going to ask for you to proof reading 88 pages ? Will give me a break as I have to look after my wife now she is out of hospital and likely to be off work for 14 weeks. So I have ironing/cleaning/shopping etc to undertake.

Hey Mike,
You received a compliment from the female author of Harry Bamford book on Radio Bristol last Thursday. She sung your praises beautifully.
BTW did Graham Withey score with his first touch on home debut in 1982?
Our famous football scout and VP International Sales never got a mention.

Hey Mike, You received a compliment from the female author of Harry Bamford book on Radio Bristol last Thursday. She sung your praises beautifully. BTW did Graham Withey score with his first touch on home debut in 1982? Our famous football scout and VP International Sales never got a mention. Always good to receive compliments even Wael complimented me/us on the book I gave him Pirates in Profile Rovers Players Who's Who 1920-93. We are working on a revised book Players Who's Who 1946-2018 due to be published next Summer.
Yes correct about Graham Withey. Here is his draft biography for the new publication
GRAHAM ALFRED WITHEY b 11.6.1960 Bristol 6’ 3”; 13 st 7 lbs F Début: 28.8.82 v Brentford Career: 1976 Pucklechurch Sports; 1977 Welton Rovers; 8.8.80 Bath City (£5,000); 2.8.82 Bristol Rovers (£5,000) [19+3,10]; 5.8.83 Coventry City (£5,000) [11+11,4]; October 1984 Seiko, Japan (loan); 21.12.84 Cardiff City (loan); 28.1.85 Cardiff City (£20,000) [27,7]; 1985 Bath City (loan); 20.9.86 Bristol City [1+1,0]; 12.12.86 Bath City; 24.2.88 Cheltenham Town; July 1988 Exeter City (free) [5+2,2]; 1989 Brisbane City; December 1989 Gloucester City; 11.3.91 Bath City (loan); 1991 Bath City (free); 16.7.93 Yate Town (trial); August 1993 Weston-super-Mare; 21.3.95 Mangotsfield United; 5.8.95 Clevedon Town (trial); 9.9.95 Glenside Hospital; 30.11.95 Bath City; 1.12.96 Yate Town; 19.12.96 Trowbridge Town; September 1997 Clandown; August 1998 Weston-super-Mare (assistant manager).
Enthusiastic, sharp-shooting and tall, Graham Withey spent one season with Rovers, before furthering his career in Japan and Australia and scoring over a hundred goals in five spells with Bath City. In only his second substitute appearance for Rovers, he scored with his first touch from David Williams’ pass and added a second goal as Rovers defeated Wigan Athletic 4-0 at Eastville; it was the first occasion that a Rovers substitute had scored twice in a League fixture. Hapless Wigan conceded two more to Withey, who was recovering from an ankle injury, as Rovers won the return fixture 5-0 at Springfield Park in February 1983. The younger child of Robert Withey and Joan Packer, his forward play excited the Eastville crowd. Joining Coventry City in a joint deal involving Nick Platnauer, he scored the winning goal in Steve Bailey’s testimonial game against Rovers in November 1983 after scoring against Spurs on his Sky Blues’ début. A team-mate at Seiko of the Dutch international René van de Kerkhof, he was twice relegated with Cardiff, playing against Rovers in November 1985, a game Cardiff lost 2-1, and was out of the game for some time after picking up an injury with Exeter at Darlington. It was at Twerton Park that Withey made his name, scoring 109 goals in 263(+18) matches for Bath. He scored in the sensational 3-2 FA Cup win at his former club Cardiff City in November 1992, having built up a strong partnership the previous campaign with Paul Randall, scored four times in a 7-0 win against Glastonbury in August 1980 and hat-tricks against AP Leamington in September 1981 and Kettering Town in December 1995. A second cousin of Mike Barrett and the younger child of Robert Withey and Joan Packer, he later added four games with Mangotsfield before being injured in a charity game in Dublin and missing most of the 1997-98 campaign. Assistant to John Relish at Weston, he scored the only goal of the game on the opening day of the 1999-2000 campaign, as Weston defeated Shepshed Dynamo. Having worked in Bristol for a firm making exhibition stands, Graham Withey is now a postman and works at the Memorial Stadium on match-days for the Press Association, working on players’ statistics.
