Great interview on the Rovers Youtube channel with Steve Hamer. The guy just instills so much confidence in me. He doesn't waffle, prevaricate or bulls**t, just tells it as it is. Our old chairman seems like a bad dream in comparison. He mentions how he's 'finding out how the club used to be ran' which is another way of say 'for f**ks sake!'

He said he would release information when he knew it was concrete fact. That's far better than having a watertight case or telling us we'd be off to Whaddon Road. |

It was the evasive and fidgety manner of Nick Higgs that really had me feeling angry. We were often told that confidentiality clauses were in place and that he could not tell us anything. We know that the previous board were not fan friendly and had shown complete and utter disregards to us. Steve Hamer manages, in one interview, to make the last lot look exactly what they were, bloody chancers and not wanting us to know anything. We have had the lone wolf comment and now this, my guess is they are still finding more things that they were not aware of and its not going to be an easy job to get everything right but at least they are open to us and will get in touch, should you send email, letters of telephone. The difference is like light and day and there really is no comparison. All this and not a single plastic patio seat in sight  |

If and when this guy builds the same track record of telling downright lies that Nick Highs did, I'll treat what he says with the same pinch of salt that was always needed with him. Until then, I default to the idea that people are genuine, and credibility gets lost rather than needing to be gained. |
