Has anything been said as to who owns the 8%? It'll be the SC and the like who haven't sold their shares.

One thing i don't understand in this is whatever the deal, level of investment or takeover is why do we fans think we are involved in this in any way? whatever the announcement is in the press conference one thing is for sure the club will be different and its just a matter of how much, I just hope to those of us who've suffered the hard times that whatever it ends up looking like that its still recognisable as our club. UTG! Well I must admit I never thought it would happen but what a day for all of us but special mention to the ones who kept the faith even in the darkest days when we played home games at Ashton ,the last days at eastville and the years of exile in bath and the last twenty years at the mem you never gave up no matter what and also people like Dennis Dunford and Ron Craig and all the fans who haven't made it never forget whoever owns the club the soul belongs to the fans we've seen plenty of lows but not many highs but maybe our time has come welcome WAQ and family and our new anthem swing low sweet chariot utg

Apparently they've already sat down with the university and discussed plans, although they do need to go over everything and make sure it's "100% doable" before commencing. They will also "eliminate all outstanding debts over a period of time" www.periscope.tv/w/1kvJpzqMwooKE

The supporters club and any small shareholders Wonder what will happen with the share scheme shares? I presume the 8% are the smaller shareholders as well. Under company law the buyers can make a compulsory purchase order for the remaining shares if they desire. Think it would be good if they allowed fans to keep an interest although perhaps the share scheme shares if sold could be invested in something that helps the club and benefits supporters in the new stadium. Ideas?

I've discovered that "Roll, Jordan, Roll" was written by Charles Wesley. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Steve Hamer? Does he pass the fit an proper person test? Those were my thoughts exactly Dr! I don't want to put a negative slant on any of the news coming out today but certainly left under a dark cloud at Swansea.

The new owners will but does a new chairman?

Who cares.
Sit back and enjoy the ride. The club was going bust under Higgs the worse thing that can happen is the same thing.

Simply wondering with his record *if* he was a fit and proper person.

l am happy to eat humble pie regarding the buy out. Despite everything I can`t help feeling rather excited and I may as well have a few digs at my s**thead mates. Somehow I still can`t believe this is happening to us, after years of disappointments I am expecting it to all go tits up though.
I am a cynical old git.
