Anyway let gets back on topic?? In all my years of watching football rarely have I come across such a Jekyll and Hyde as Mr S C ...... all wonderful when your shower achieve a good result but an absolute pig of a person when you lose - rude to interviewers / never HIS fault always the players / referees etc Truly horrible and don't try to cover it over by saying he is passionate etc - the guy is just ignorant. At least when we have played poorly DC will not hide behind matters and tries to be dignified in winning and also in defeat In reality Mr S C reflects your fanbase and club Seriously?

He took over we were at the foot of a league that I and many others were embarrassed to be in. You're deluded! The third tier is where you live. Same as we should.

The entire point I make - the shafting of the rugby club aside - is that SC has done a decent job. He's taken us up and walked the league when he took over a club in turmoil rooted to the foot of the league, and he's built a style of play which gives us a decent side to watch. The first time I've seen us move away from that was the defeat on Tuesday actually.
His interviews? He's honest and he's forthright and he's passionate. He calls people out, he says when we've not been given decisions and he's not afraid to say where the opposition have been crap and not deserved. Not to say he isn't able to offer credit too. See his comments about Steve Bruce's Hull City.
All in all if we stay up - which I think we will easily - he'll get time and money to improve the areas we lack. Hence the £9m offers before..

Bid for 2 stickers and then brings in 2 centre backs ?

Those £9m offers were terribly impressive.

When a manager starts blaming everything, he on a slippery slope. I'd say we probably shouldn't worry on our forums about it. But when he indirectly slurred us with the 'rag ass rovers' nonsense, which should have not have been said by him, he became a target. Their fans don't think that highly of DC, but he is much better coach than their whinging tool - and is a far superior man manager by the looks of things. I hope they only sack him when it is too late.
Oh and we definitely didn't shaft the eggheads - the clause was to protect them from us; but they went under. Anyway why would a s**thead care? they are now part of the wonderful, brilliant, awesome Bristol Sport that will lead them to a glory that us mere sags could apparently only dream about.

Yes, but those "£9m offers" didn't actually come to City did they. They made you a bit of a laughing stock even amongst your own fans. Quite how players commanding such high fees would fit into Mr Lansdown's wages structure was a mystery. Will he go back to losing £10m+ per season like your last spell in the Championship or stick to a wage structure that means few top Championship quality players would want to come to City? I think there's a 50:50 chance that next year City will be back to where they were when SL took over, but with a stadium with 18,000 empty seats and your owner £100m poorer. Still, to be fair, no team could get promoted to any higher division and then be challenging for promotion again with minimal new investment. To do that would need a brilliant manager......

He is the proverbial loose cannon - who when matters go badly demeans himself and even dare I say it your club!! A good idea would be for him to be partnered by the Fat Controller Steve Evans of Leeds - a real dream team. The latter should not be in football given his history imo

The countdown has already started. The excitement is all too much to take in. Only just over a week to go to the big day, and I'm already counting down the days, and getting excited. NO not Chrimbo Day, but Boxing Day, when we get a new installment of Mr Santa Cotts latest angry ramblings.
I know I will barely sleep the night before with excitement and anticipation, I can see it now, its 5pm the Radio Bristol muppet asks a stupid question, (aka light the blue touch paper, take a step back then boom), I close my eyes, then I see Mr Santa Cotts giving out the best gifts of them all, face distorted with rage, he starts spitting out his usual hatred and bile, "the better team lost, They scored 4 goals all against the run of play, a definite penalty, poor referee, grass was too long, the linesmen's legs were too thin, the ball was the wrong shape, colour etc etc etc, "
Woopee, I'm now in heaven, The best present this year (until the next match)

Bristol City manager Steve Cotterill: "Charlton have ended up getting a point they never deserved. "The boys are giving me everything. If we had won four or five nil, which we should have done, people would have gone away saying how well we had played. "We have to make more of our scoring opportunities. I don't blame Marlon Pack because his penalty was two inches from being perfect. "We had so many other chances. Charlton were just trying not to get beaten, which is why they had so many men back getting in the way of our shots."

Fair play to SC. He's got a point. How CAN you score if the mean opposition get in the way of your shots? Perhaps a shot they don't get in the way of, like a penalty?
Oh.....

Can anyone confirm another pitch invasion over a home draw? Was reading that his post match comments went into a dig at SL. I see this guy digging his own grave & it's hard to think that anyone could be more bizarre that Sean of the dead. Jon Lansdown has to put his hands up to this, surely ? Anyone, with Internet access, could see SC has struggled each time he has got near a decent standard. Forest fans seem to be enjoying this

Where on earth would we all be without him, to brighten the midwinter blues? Carry on Cotts, take no notice of 'em.
