Guys.. I know a draw from home is usually a good result but the manor we are conceding goals recently is embarrassing. When we go behind or go level we just don't have the team morale like we did last season and I know we're a league above but I'm sorry that's not an acceptable excuse. We're in league two for a reason and we MUST compete! We had 20 seconds to go and they equalised. I'm sorry it's not acceptable and I'd say Nicholls needs to leave ASAP.

- How was the goal (once again) Nicholls fault?!
- Kind of hard to score a winner with 5 seconds left.
- We were exceptional today. You only had to listen to the game to establish that.

I think we've got plenty of team morale, we just haven't had the firepower (with the exception of Taylor) to counter the goals we're conceding so far this season. We've loan-signed a winger, plus a lofty striker; to account for our recent shortcomings and we'll most likely have a new keeper soon. Things are changing, but nothing happens overnight.

We were level on points with a game in hand until recent results!

We were level on points with a game in hand until recent results! It's about winning the war, maybe lose a few battles on the way. It's a long season, with many ups and downs along the way. In my view we need to keep seeing the bigger picture which I think is reasonable at the moment. Some may disagree. Fixtures list n December not too bad. Fixture list in January seems a bit of a humdinger and I think that is when we can all see if our progress is an illusion or not.

By that comment you appear not to have been at the game. The goal being conceded was absolutely nothing to do with Nicholls. I was gutted for the manager and players, they had put in a real shift with some outstanding performances from a number of players and in the atrocious conditions Nicholls did all he had to do including one shot that was dipping all over the place before he managed to push it away. We had more shots than them, we had more shots on target than them, we had more corners than them and according to the Exeter fans I spoke to we played far better than them too, we certainly managed the conditions better than they did. We conceded from a miss hit cross and a miss hit shot....I'm getting fed up of people constantly blaming the goalie when it clearly wasn't his fault

Great team performance all round, and their keeper played a blinder. Shame the offside goal wasn't on the sky highlights as I wouldn't mind having seen that again.

True but I also thought the last two subs also lacked application and was one of the reasons why we were put under so much pressure towards the end as they failed to chase and harass the defence. Their goal came from a poor decision by Ellis to cut back into midfield instead of heading for the corner flag lost the ball and then failed to try and get the ball back which then allowed Exeter to play the ball forward. As for Easter, words fail me, it appeared to me as if he was offended by being asked to come on as a substitute. Strolled/walked around and then at one point instead of running the channel as Sinclair was bringing the ball out from defence into midfield decided for some inexplicable reason to run back into our half giving Sinclair no where to play the ball and allowing Exeter to win the ball back to start another attack.

Agree absolutely. When the ball was played in his direction, during the last few minutes yesterday, he did nothing to hold it up to buy us time. Instead, another of their attacks would develop. Can`t he join Blissett at Lincoln? Please. I`ll drive him up there.

Who said I was blaming Nicholls for the goal? I am just saying that he is a very poor excuse for a keeper that has cost us points in 3-4 games since he's been with us. I've never watched a keeper who is scared to dive for the ball.
