Seems the Club and manager have appealed on the decision to send of Jermaine Easter for an alleged head butt. The case will be decided tomorrow so he may still play against Notts County. Having seen the incident on tv and on video I did not see contact or intent to head butt. Refs have hard jobs to do and I feel he over reacted. We shall see

A yellow card for the ''dive'' would have been appropriate, a red card for a head-butt? Never.
Time will tell though.

An equity card and a place at RADA would be appropriate for the dive.

An equity card and a place at RADA would be appropriate for the dive. I see that you've gone for the final solution, bypassing any hope that Jermaine could be mentored by Tom Daley in the short-term. Just to see if he has any real ability, or if was a one-off on Saturday.

No I think he is planning for life after football, he has probably got 2 or 3 years left in football and who knows how many theatrical agents were sitting in the 3 sided ground. I feel he is a bit more widow Tw**ky than Othello though.

It certainly didnt look like there was a headbutt but the referee was standing so close I would be amazed if it gets overturned.

Still Olly Clark got his red card overturned, so there is a slim chance that he could get it overturned.

We shall see I hate it that the team have to suffer but, from the accounts of others who were there, I think Easter got what he deserved and Matty Taylor should take heed of it. I hate cheating by any players.

I'm not criticising or condoning anything, I agree with cheats never prosper. Don't like anything like that involved in the game and hope DC issues strict commands to stamp it out.
But...
Will Puddy handballed outside area twice last season and wasn't punished at all.
It's just a point and relevant. If it happened the other way round, both times we wild be screaming blue murder (metaphorically)

That much is certainly true, so I do wonder why it is that he didn't also spot the Mansfield player (McGuire) drag Easter to his feet, and the other idiot (Hunt) push him off of the pitch altogether. And if that's not enough, neither were involved in the original incident, which was in no way dangerous. Theatrical yes, dangerous no. Unlike some of the antics that their mob got up to later in the game, judging by the recorded highlights.

The problem is though that the dive was so outrageous it might generate little sympathy from the committee for what happened afterwards. It shouldn't be the way it works but it could be.

Going by the angle on the Sky Sports highlights, a slags player came up to him and made contact with Easter, all Easter did was get that tw*ts hand off of him.
