I couldn't agree more, but it's often an unwelcome opinion, which is why some have left, and others post less frequently, because it's better to be quiet than to be boring. Some detest B*****'s crimes and unsavoury character when Rovers are losing, but overlook them as soon as The Pirates win. Those of us who remain consistent are a lot more popular after defeats than victories. I'm always happy that Gasheads enjoy a victory, whether I think it good, or would prefer a swift end to the chapter.

Even, half mad with excitement at the end of last night`s game, I wouldn`t contemplate singing his name.
But like a lot of Gasheads, I`m not going to stop going to support, and wanting the team to do well.

Ditto to all of that Alf. UTG.

I agree. Looks like we are going to head towards the most Rovers thing ever, that just as we are picking up some form and moving upwards, someone is going to be forced to make a decision

Very true. Supporting a football team is an emotional rollercoaster. Extreme highs and extreme lows.
Let's face it, evenings like yesterday are why we are all here. Why we put up with the rubbish week in, week out. For moments like that.
When we lose heavily, the manager rightly takes the stick, so it is only fair to give praise to JB today. It was his team that produced that performance that gave us all that wonderful experience that we will never forget.
I entered this season hoping for a season to remember. There is still time for that to happen. I really, really hope it does.

There was a family a few seats from me in the South West Stand last night, and they had a young boy with them. He was probably about 8 I would guess.
He was jumping up and down, really into the game. Even when we were 2-0 down in extra time, he was still there expecting us to score.
What an amazing experience for someone so young. So much better than watching football on TV. Hopefully a life-long Gashead was born last night.
Mind you, there was a number of older people (myself included) who had wide eyes just like that little boy...
Happy Days.

Well said alf. No inconsistency from me either, support BRFC all the time. Managers come and managers go, the club is there all the time. My position the same all the way through, support the club, wanting a win every match. UTG!

Until B***** goes, I'm not sure I qualify as a Rovers supporter.
I want what's best for the Club, but that isn't what we've currently got.
I'm glad people had a good night at Rovers last night. I also had a good night, but I was somewhere else.

As for the actual football, on the field of play,I think if Joe stays and WAQ continues to back him we are in for a real treat these next few seasons. As exciting football as Gasheads have ever seen. I mean it.

I don't support the team though. The team winning prolongs the tenure of B*****. So winning is not in the club's interests. I don't support it. It's sad, but true. B***** is unfit to manage Bristol Rovers. This year has been a disaster for us lot.

Like tick follows tock, my Faustian friend. It was hardly going to be 'mint', I guess. I worded my response correctly, though. I don't want you to lose. But B*****? Winning is not in Rovers' interests, no. I hope you and your drinking pals have fun. But I am not as fickle as most supporters.

There's nothing fickle about always wanting the team you support and have supported for decades, to win.
Not everyone is so sanctimonious as to want us to lose, despite the mixed opinions that the supporters have of the manager.
Neither me, nor those I go to Rovers with,or meet beforehand, go just to have a drink. We go to support the players representing our club.
Sorry if that offends.

Who's offended? Who's going after anyone who dares to say they're not delighted? Your support prolongs B*****'s disgracing of this football club though, I'm sure. That's your right. I'm never 'offended'.
