The feeling when we went 4-3 up was why I love football. It was almost the football fan's vinegar strokes moment.
Cannot wait for Saturday's game.
I play on the Saturday am (just about), then 3 games of NRL starting with Manly, 3 games of Super Rugby, a Prem game then Rovers on iSwallow concurrently with the championship games. What a great day. Come on Manly!!

Swampy and Co have sold out their away allocation so will be in full voice. There will no doubt be a sea of tie-dye and dreadlocked lefty loonies cheering on the vegan vagrants. I fancy Rovers here. Forest Grim are limping over the line and an early goal will undo their parked busses game plan. Phil Collins will want to get hat- trick against his old club and against all odds. Odds have come down for a gas victory from 2/1 to 13/8. I’d love to be there in the thatchers end as the atmosphere seems to be getting better each game. Come on Rovers. I’m really liking this renewable gas!! Having seemingly returned unsold allocation tickets, how many supporters are they expecting to be at the mem? No idea. Perhaps that’s why they sold out their allocation only once it was reduced.

I really enjoyed that. 2:30am in Sydney and probably woke the neighbours after the loft conversion. Having building work done at 2.30am is bound to wake the neighbours. Have you made it into another bedroom? I was cautioned the same time as Loft. Thankfully I’ve stayed on the pitch. Great effort by the whole team. Can’t wait to bring this meaty team to the vegans.

H.T. 1-2 but we have had three yellows so stay cool boys. It’s foreseeable that there will be a red card in this game. The ref has that small man syndrome whilst Barton’s players are playing like they have deep heat in their pants.

Come on Rovers. I think a full house will be massive today. The extra man. Are you still in England Chelts? No mate, I’ve been back for two weeks. I’ll be in UK come September hopefully in division 1. I’ve got my ifollow pass and looking forward to seeing the Mem all excited for the match. I would recommend the hospitality tickets at $65 each - great food, good seats and a really good touch after the match to see the MOM presentation. Also am a new fan of Gloucester Road. What a great place.

Another home game tomorrow. We're 10 games unbeaten at home and haven't conceded many in that time. With Anthony Evans looking like he'll play a part, we should be too strong for the mob from the Dirty Old Town. Onwards and upwards. UTG. 🏴☠️ Come on Rovers. I think a full house will be massive today. The extra man.

The award for thread title of the year goes to CPB. Nice one! If we can win today, then third place behind FGR and Port Vale will be on. Incoming Exeter wobble.Let's hope so. DC seems to have won the wily manager contest with Clough. They've both been there and done it before and I reckon DC will get one of the auto spots. Mansfield are not the sort of team you want in the playoffs. A win today will cement our position for the automatic spots. We’ll best tranny. We’ve got more scousers than them. I’ll go with 3-1 gas with w Nicholson brace

Does anybody actually object to women watching or playing football? I don't think I've ever met anybody who thinks they shouldn't be allowed to? So Tom, in this respect at least you can rest assured...your daughters already live in a world of (relative) equality. Yes, I have encountered some mildly chavinistic comments about women doing either, but never with the deliberate intention of causing harm or offence. People don't object to the premise that football should be free of sexism. They object to a particular political agenda being shoved down their throat and told that it is right and they have no right to think differently without being denigrated, ostracised and threatened with legal recourse. In particular, they object to relatively privileged individuals (and most feminists are middle-class professionals) jumping on every statement or action to claim their sanctified 'victim' status. Its interesting that the club didn't actually make a statement on Barton's 'Holocaust' debacle and unfortunately made a statement on a 'victimless crime', but jumps on this at the very first opportunity. Pretty contemptible stuff. I agree with most of that. It's just box ticking imho. It's the same with BLM, the trans movement..etc and every other leftie idea in every area of society today. It's rammed down our throats and unless you completely agree with it,then you must be a bigot of some kind. I find it 'slightly' offensive that over the past 5 years or so we are forced fed the fact that female football is as big as of a game, or is equal as the male game when it's not, and it's never has been and never will be. It's crazy that females are now pushed down our throats on tv as pundits and in leading commentating roles over move experienced ex professional male players just to tick boxes. Again I'm all for the build up of the female gamek, and females going to matches etc.. but I'm anti anything being forced fed us to fit an agenda. I've never once come across anyone at a gas match saying anything about a woman being there, and how they should at home in the kitchen. I've never heard any other sexiest comment in regard to a woman being at a match, other then the odd wolf whistle towards a good looking woman now and then. It’s great how female participation in football has grown over the last decade to become the most participated sport for women. The fact that women are more visible in the football media and are shown to be equal only helps the growth of the game. Sometimes groups need a leg up to then thrive independently.

Is that Danny's brother per chance ? No Nor is he a relative to Old King Cole, Paul Scholes, Nat King Cole or Cole Porter. Al Kebab won 3-0 BTW with two goals from Argentinean international Eva Bennega.

Port Vale have +23 GD Rovers have +11 GD We just have to beat them 6-0 in three weeks time then it's all Archie Stevens I said my maths are sporting, you’d love to play golf against me, if your GD is worth a point I’ll concede that putt. A win in the head to head though puts us right back into automatic contention imo after Mansfield’s disaster tonight. If there's 8 teams in the mix with 6 games to go then there's about 40 matches where anything can happen and something will happen. We have a better depth squad than many of our rivals so we can probably deal better with future injuries/suspensions. Although I do think we'd struggle without Connor Taylor, Sam Finley, Elliot Anderson and Belshaw. Barton's team are playing well and will fancy their chances against any one. We should also have Josh Grant, Anthony Evans and this Nolan bloke available for the run in. My hard earned cash is still on a Rovers promotion with a few sovereigns on Automatics.

Yes, mixed news for us at moment tonight. Mansfield getting nothing except man suspended for 3. Salford can still deny Port three points, still some time to go. Salfords let us down. That makes our automatic chances a bit more awkward. 4 points outside now by my sporting maths. 😕 We’ll do it via Wembley then! Port Vale have +23 GD Rovers have +11 GD We just have to beat them 6-0 in three weeks time then it's all Archie Stevens

Some interesting facts about Bradford
Their stadium is owned by the pension fund of the former chairman and leased back to the club
A Bantam is a small fighting cock so I suspect Joey will be very comfortable facing Bradford today.
Their midfielder Yann Songo'o is the son of the Cameroonian keeper Jacque Songo'o - legend.
Bruce Bannister played for Bradford and was born in Bradford.
The Bronte Sisters and David Hockney were recently voted the 2nd and 3rd most influential people of Bradford. Gareth Gates came top.

Wayne Carlisle always scored against Carlisle.
I think our momentum should be too much for Carlisle but any team has that ability to score fluke goals at the start then shut up shop.
Nicholson is back. He’ll be on the bench but he’s always a threat coming on with twenty minutes to go.
Come in Rovers!!

Rovers are unchanged once again for today's clash with Northampton Town! The only change in the matchday squad comes in the form of Leon Clarke who replaces Luke Thomas on the Rovers bench. Northampton Town - Liam Roberts, Aaron McGowan, Jack Sowerby, Jon Guthrie, Fraser Horsfall, Sam Hoskins, Paul Lewis, Mitch Pinnock, Tyler Magloire, Joseph Mills ©, Louis Appere. Subs - Michael Harriman, Beryly Lubala, Chanka Zimba, Benny Ashley-Seal, Jonny Maxted, Peter Abimbola, Danny Rose. Rovers - James Belshaw, James Connolly, Sam Finley, Aaron Collins, Elliot Anderson, Paul Coutts ©, Nick Anderton, Connor Taylor, Harry Anderson, Antony Evans, Luca Hoole. Subs - Leon Clarke, Trevor Clarke, Harvey Saunders, Cian Harries, Glenn Whelan, Jed Ward, Ryan Loft. There’s a lot of goals in this match

I fancy Rovers to win this one so long as there isn't any stupid red cards.
What's happened to Nicholson of late?
The signing of Elliot Andersen has been crucial - shows how links within football can prove very important.
I think the gas will win 2-1 but there will be some crossed fingers towards the end of the match.
