Oldham were one of the founder members of the Premier League, and survived relegation in its first season.
They dropped into L2 for the first time in 47 years in 2018, after 21 consecutive years in L1, the only league with 7 out places.
They play at Boundary Park
I have not heard of any of their current players.
In 1989/90, they were FA Cup semi finalists and League Cup runners up, the following year they won Division 2 and were FA cup semi finalists again in 1993/94.
They last played each other in 2017, a 1-1 draw. Rovers have overall won 25 times, Oldham 20, with 15 draws.
Both have lost their first 2 league games this season.

Everything is against Rovers at the moment, not least the opposition 😆, it's up to them to break this losing habit. Break this losing mentality.

Our biggest win was 3-5 away, we have won 4-0 once, 4-1 & 4-3 twice and have had a 4-4 draw, biggest losses have been 4-0 & 4-1. Back in the 1920's & 30's Andrew Wilson managed at BRFC & Oldham for 5 years each. Our old centre back Keith Curle is their current incumbent in the hot seat.

I seem to remember Keith Curle being a right winger at Rovers,Eastville days.

Without checking I think that Keith Curle played on the wing and scored on his debut the first home game of the season against Chester 81 or 82 ? I thought he played as a full back at sometime.

Christian Montano and Ousmane Tounkara both joined Rovers having previously played at Oldham. Any more prominent Rovers players with an Oldham connection?

Joe Jacobson scored his only goal for Rovers at Oldham, then joined them and pretended he'd joined a big club, and then went onto play in the Championship for Wycombe.

Tough one to call this.
We do have a history of ending other clubs poor runs but surely we have to nick one sooner or later.
That's the heart sorted but the head says 0-0.

Bookies - generally have: Gas win Evens (in places a bit tighter) Draw 5-2 Oldham win 3-1 Two teams on dreadful runs. In the last 5 Rovers have scored 1, lost all 5. Oldham have scored 4, lost 4 drawn 1. 0-0 is 9-1.

Unless Oldham are somehow strangely even more s**t than us, I can't see anything other than another defeat for Bristol Rovers-Nil.
