"Multiple times"? I'm just about past caring what the obsessed anti JB think. Sick of reading it and hearing creepy snide remarks on the terrace. Refreshing to read such positive reports on last nights football match and that's what I'm going back to. Okay, you won't change your mind,I get it. I don`t like the guy. I wouldn`t applaud him onto the pitch, and I wouldn`t applaud him off it. Sing his name? I`d sooner stick my fingers in a food processor. But I wouldn`t stop going. And I want us to win, as much as ever.
Fair enough Alf,in that we all go our own way including the 'hard core' anti JB. For a couple of reasons that added up meant I did'nt attend last night. One reason I have Crohns disease and after attending the Stevenage game i thought i might be pushing my luck to keep going until the Autumn booster jabs. I did'nt buy a season ticket this time and £20 seems alot.It is'nt so bad but when I compare it to the ST price per game.Thats the nitty gritty, comparing £20 to about £13. Also, the anti JB thing played a part.Very fed up of reading it and hearing it. The radio comentary was fine and I look forward to hearing and seeing Rovers improve and challenge. 5 to 10 games.

Unless Oldham are somehow strangely even more s*** than us, I can't see anything other than another defeat for Bristol Rovers-Nil. They were

Agreed re: Anderson. He ran himself ragged last night, as did Thomas. Great effort from them both. Roman was great when he came on too. Have read elsewhere that some thought the ref was crap. Not sure he got much wrong other than the strange free kick against Rodman after he'd nutmegged their left back. The booking of Saunders for diving when he slipped and got back up and got to the ball! That was his first bad mistake. Not sure about the penalty shouts. Couple of odd calls for both sides.

We deserved that, but had we and Oldham been any good at finishing, it could have been 6-4. Anyway, 3 points at home for the first time for an age. UTG. Potential of better things to come Grant? Hope so. The performance was unrecognisable in comparison to Saturday. Then again, so was the opposition, although their numbers 4, 8 and 24 looked tidy.

Interesting how we see it LG. I thought Saunders looked for a penalty on that one. The first penalty shout was definitely a dive though.

That was a much better performance in the first half. Finley is the complete opposite of Westbrooke and looks a quality addition. Anderson played well again.
How bad were Oldham mind? They were really, really poor and I think they are going to be in trouble this season. The amount of times they looked exposed in defence. My worry is we didn't Score more past them and a better team would have got back in the game with the 1 or 2 chances we gifted them. We still have players to come back and I do think our transfer business has been good. The win was massive as it gets that monkey off the back, hopefully we can build on that at Exeter.

I didn`t think so. I thought Stevenage were pitiful for about 75 minutes, at which point it started to dawn on them that they had nothing to worry about, and pretty much took control.

Was Grant who made that pass to Anderson Really!?? The shimmy in mid was Grant? Watching the view from low down camera you are correct. Finlay did the turn on right side of pitch, cross field pass to Anderson who then played the one two with Grant.

About the only pass from Grant that went to a Rovers player last night Why do you write such absolute tosh? Grant appears to be the new Ollie Clarke, some only see the mistakes without noticing all the good work. Much like no comments on the extremely bad passes made by Finlay. All players make mistakes.

Can you back that up with Grant's passing stats, I will listen then, as opposed to seeing what I see. I can see how my comment seemed flippant and a bit knee jerk, happy to discuss his merits and weaknesses further.

I think Grant breaks up play well, works extremely hard and I am glad when he is in the team, he gives the ball away a lot, it's a fact. Finlay MOM, says it all.

Anderson pass to Grant. Grantvwaits then first time return to Anderson. About the only pass from Grant that went to a Rovers player last night To be fair, Grants performance was an improvement on Saturday. If he keeps on improving like that then he could become a stand-out player for us.
