Virtually zero chance of the case being heard tomorrow, unless B***** pleads guilty which seems v. unlikely, until we know more facts about the case we've really no idea if it warrants a suspension or not. Can't see anything other than a suspension from duties if that's the case. Tomorrow could well be go ahead Clint, make my day I suspect he will still be manager on Tuesday, irrespective of what happens tomorrow. Court proceedings are never quick, it will be months if not a year or so before this one is decided (unless it is thrown out of court),

I've had enough of this, I am taking a break. I am not supporting B*****. Too much hassle. We agree and disagree on different subjects, mangogas15, and in every case of both, what you have written has interested me. We all need a break from time to time; please hurry back as soon as inclined, I hope very soon. This place needs writers like you, Sir. Kind of you, Shove.

Great, now it's on the front page of BBC football news.
More national embarrassment.

More national embarrassment. Oh it's far worse than national embarrassment. As I wrote on 22nd February, I think you and I have both been embarrassed by Bristol Rovers before B***** was recruited. This isn't embarrassing, though: this is deeply shameful, and that's very much a 2021 novelty.

Can I just confirm, we expose ourselves to this as a recreational pastime?

There will be real appetite to come together and get behind him. What happens after his appointment depends how good he is as a manager. As you know, I don’t believe it’s ever the brains and decision making of one guy. With Joey off the payroll he will have scope to bring in a mentor, maybe older guy on bench as number 2 not younger guy. that older guy may be great with media, and we will all have instant respect for them.

You registered with the forum on 4th June, yet wrote something on 22 February? Are you a blogger or journalist, and referring to something which you published elsewhere? If so, any chance you could reference it here please, so that it can be read in conjunction with the above post, for clarification. Cheers.

Dear fella, I'm no blogger or journalist, although I'd be proud of the latter. No, I'm just Shoveler, writer to Gas Guzzler on and off for many years, but always as Shoveler. I deregistered and spent time away from it until yesterday. The 22nd February correspondence was the thread I titled Joey B***** is unfit to manage Bristol Rovers. Good health. Shoves

is it true that Gorringe has announced Stella Artois will be at half price in all club bars until the court case is concluded?

B***** pleads not guilty Bristol Rovers manager Joey B***** has pleaded not guilty on a charge of assault by beating after a woman suffered a head injury.
The charge against B*****, 38, of Widnes, relates to an alleged incident at a residential property in Kew, south-west London, on June 2.
The Rovers boss appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court in south-west London on Monday via video link.
We are waiting to hear if the case will proceed today, or if it has been adjourned to a later date.

This isn't embarrassing, though: this is deeply shameful, and that's very much a 2021 novelty. What is bemusing about this article on the BBC site is they do not know it was his wife he attacked.... Former footballer Joey B***** is due in court charged with attacking and injuring a woman. The 38-year-old, who manages League Two side Bristol Rovers, will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Monday 26 July. He was arrested at an address in Kew on 2 June, bailed pending further enquiries, and subsequently charged. Ambulance crews were not called to the property where the woman was attacked, police said. The Metropolitan Police said in a statement: "Joseph B*****, 38, of Widnes, is charged with assault by beating. "The charge relates to an incident which took place at a residential property in Kew on Wednesday 2 June in which a woman received a head injury".
