Spain take an early lead against Basle's lot!!.... fear it will only get worse for him!!! That's what comes of studying Englands penalty shoot outs. Sigh. Auf wieder sehen. 🇨🇭

Spain and Italy are hard to beat, but even harder to watch with their continual cheating, play acting and hounding of officials.
Would much rather have seen, Switzerland Vs Belgium.
BTW, if that's a red card for the Swiss guy we may as well start playing with slippers on and using balloons instead of balls, he took the ball cleanly then there was enough contact to make the opponent fall, nothing more. But then again, if you give important games to an exhibitionist like Michael Oliver you know he's going to do something to ensure that he's the topic of conversation after the game.

Anyone know the Italian for football's coming home? Why would an Italian want to talk about football coming home to the country that gave it to the world? You would think, having done that for them, the least they would do in return is have the good manners not to punch the ball into our goal and to award us goals where the ball has crossed the line by a good foot. IF.... England were to make the final, my thinking is that they would have a better chance of beating Spain than Italy ,,,, Sorrento and its surroundings are nice tho

Nice to see the Italians have rediscovered the finer art of cheating, 🤬 you wonder why, when they have a team there to win without all that crap, looks like they will win the thing come next weekend I was furious watching the game. I hate cheats and cheating. Eric Cantona new luggage ad is brilliant. Talks of continuity about neymar grabbing his head after being hit on the leg

Anyone know the Italian for football's coming home? They are doing all they can to have us lose by banning any British National to be allowed a ticket. Did they do this with other teams ? No. Only resident English will be allowed a ticket. If I was a player this would be perfect to make me play out of my skin. I know it’s early days but IF we make it to the final, I hope we do something similar. What’s good for the goose and all that

Just saw a few folk sharing nonsense on Facebook which suggests that England have no chance because the officials are German.
OK then.

Gareth Southgate is now the 2nd best England manager behind Alf Ramsey, he has a 4th place & a Euro semi-final to Ramsey's World Cup win and a 3rd place in the 1968 Euro's.
IMO we have nothing to fear from Denmark, Spain or Italy TBH.
Come on England, let's make our 1st major Final for 55 years.
