Time to pray to the footballing gods Gasheads!
Three points needed desperately this afternoon.
If we can cut out out defensive mistakes, continue creating chances and score, then you never know!

We can win this.. they may look like in frame for playoffs, but that’s only added pressure for a side on an awful run. They are under new management. We have all seen enough football to ignore tables this stage of the season, sports people don’t like playing under pressure. You can easily imagine United (sic) not turning up, just not getting performance together, out of the remaining matches this season we win, this shouldn’t surprise us as a win, rather like Sunderlands visit before the curtailment.
But then again, rather like Garner got it right against Sunderland, Joey needs to get it right today. No playing rookies in key positions, get the pegs in right holes, a system the 11 are comfortable in, pace ourselves, play ourselves into the game leaving something for the second period.
I won’t bang on again today about winning midfield battle, keeping it tight, roaming playmaking, there are many ways of winning a football match (play Ehmer as target winger and hoof the ball him). But I still think I’m right.

So Ayunga falls to the bench in favour of the pedestrian Westbrooke....?
Harries in for bench bound, Tutunda.
I'm not sure about this. Hanlan keeps his starting place even though he is rumoured to be 80% fit? If you count him as a striker, he's the only one in starting lineup.... you have to wonder where the goals are coming from?
Also, both Hare and Little on bench? Why not one or other and free up a place for Hargreaves, Mehew or a youth striker Tomlinson or Warwick??
I'm not convinced by the changes, maybe they're forced..... Tutunda was played out of position v Ipswich and Westbrooke has some technical ability, but slows up counter attacks, and more often than not his dead ball deliveries are predictable, lacking and can't beat the first men.
I'll plump for a defeat where we don't score. Again.

I disagree though about Westbrook, his deliveries and direct kicks are good in my opinion. Graham Souness or Nicky Butt isn’t his game. If we are to win, someone is going to thread a pass, and it’s more likely to happen with passing ability on the field. A midfield of Martinez Upson and corma have hardly been passing well of late. I like the move away from back five two up to more in the midfield battle.

It was a Dean Windass thunderbolt that scuppered 'Bristol's' chances of Premier league football. Again Hull could do us a another massive favour by bashing a load of old cobblers, thus enhancing our chances. it's that tight it could come to goal difference, that's assuming we don't f##k it up today (which you can't rule out) Come on Gas let's have some Hero's out there today!

Apparently. Looks more asymmetrical 5 3 1 1 with left back left and wide forward right and Martinez and Corma tucked in. It’s not just formation it’s the support they give each other with pass and move to make it work. Walker alone at moment, Martinez not instinctive supporter?

Let's see... we ship goals from simple errors every game. We persist in playing a back 3 - against a Doncaster side who often play 3 forwards in a 4-3-3. They've done that today, stretched us a few times already down the right... and now we're a goal down.

Tactical update. 15mins. Gas cast repeating get Leahy and Walker deeper it’s cost as a goal Joey. You are giving them too much space out there.
UPDATE. phil74 has spotted it too. Leahy and Walker marking space up field who is doing defensive turn on width?
